HIRING FOR 2ND AND 3RD SHIFTS. 2ND SHIFT WORK HOURS TYPICALLY 4 PM TO 1AM. 3RD SHIFT WORK HOURS TYPICALLY 11 PM TO 8AM. Maintain, repair, and perform evaluations and preventative and predictive maintenance on refrigeration systems according to PM List and instructed by leadership. Monitor system performance. Replace components within the refrigeration's system, with safe LOTO procedures and in accordance with PSM program. Troubleshoot equipment and recommend corrective action. Complete work orders and PMs ensuring all performed work is logged into the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) (APSM) daily. Operate, maintain and troubleshoot ammonia refrigeration compressors, condensers, pumps, vessels, re-circulators, purgers, evaporators, valves, etc. All other relevant duties to the job. RETA 1, or equivalent industrial ammonia refrigeration training such as Stellar, Frick, Lanier/GCAP, or employer training program 1+ year experience operating and maintaining Ammonia Refrigeration systems required. 1+ year experience with electrical low and high voltage circuits required. Strong math skills and technically savvy.

This position is an essential part of Sherwin's manufacturing team. The Maintenance Technician maintains and repairs plant machinery, equipment, and facility systems to keep production running.
