What You'll Do:
Day in the Life - Your focus will be to investigate complex fraudulent activity by reviewing suspicious transactions, analyzing risk, and making informed decisions that balance customer experience with loss prevention. You will communicate with customers and partners through inbound and outbound calls, document findings, manage cases from detection through resolution, and ensure compliance with BSA and internal policies. Job Summary:

Scheduling Expectations
The scheduling parameters and expectations for a flex officer are different from those of an employee assigned to a fixed post. As a flex:
You will be trained at various posts and /or facilities based on operational need. While you may work at a specific post or location for several weeks due to need, this will not be a permanent assignment.
Your schedule (shifts, days off, hours per week, etc.) will vary based on operational need.
You will be assigned to, or offered the opportunity to accept, shifts as they become available due to staffing needs.
Some of your shifts will be scheduled in advance and posted with the new week's schedule. Sometimes you will be called with short notice and asked to come in to cover for someone who is unable to work their shift.
You are expected to work any shift for which you are scheduled in advance which falls within the availability described on this sheet. If you know you will be unavailable on an upcoming date or time that would normally fall within your availability described on this sheet, you must communicate this with your supervisor, so they know not to schedule you.
For short-notice call-ins, you are expected to work at least 80% of the shifts for which you are called. If you refuse more than 20% of shifts for which you are called in, this could negatively impact your employment status with the company.
A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.

The Event Security primarily maintains security access and control to all areas of the Owensboro Convention Center & Sportscenter. About the Venue
Western Kentucky's award-winning venue - the Owensboro Convention Center - is a full-service facility overlooking the scenic Ohio River in revitalized downtown Owensboro, Kentucky. The multi-purpose center boasts just under 102,000 sq. ft. of available space, including a 44,000+ sq. ft. exhibition hall, the 8,900+ sq. ft. Kentucky Legend Pier outside over the scenic Ohio River, and additional ballroom, meeting, and pre-function space.
