In our newly created apprenticeship, you will play the Parent Educator role and will be responsible for providing home visits to clients enrolled in the Help Me Grow Program, focused on child development. This program assists families with their goals to provide support, encouragement, information and resources to promote positive parent-child interaction. As an Apprentice, you will have on-the-job learning, classroom instruction, support and mentorship along the way. At the end of the one-year apprenticeship, you will be credentialed and equipped to explore other career opportunities in the behavioral health field. Essential Functions: * Demonstrate the values and guiding principles of OhioGuidestone every day, performing with the highest standards of excellence, integrity and ethics. * Attend all scheduled classes, workshops, and mentorship sessions related to the Help Me Grow and apprenticeship curriculum. * Assist in building relationships with individuals and families in the Help Me Grow program. * Support and deliver appropriate health education on trained topics. * Learn all systems utilized in the Help Me Grow program. * Participate in community events, health fairs, and home visits under supervision. * Maintains the confidentiality of client or collateral interaction within Agency defined standards. * Exhibit positivity, flexibility and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required. * Demonstrate positive leadership, promote a team-based work environment and a culture of belonging. * Present the Agency in the most positive light with all internal and external contacts.
