Minimum Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of kitchen experience necessary. Physical Requirements :
Most work tasks are performed indoors. Temperature generally is moderate and controlled by Resort environmental systems; however, must be able to work in extreme temperatures like freezers (-10°F) and kitchens (+110°F), possibly for one hour or more.
Walking and standing is required during most of the workday. Length of time of these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task.
Ability to physically handle knives, pots, mirrors, or other display items as well as grasp, lift and carry same from shelves and otherwise transport up to 50 pounds to every area of the kitchen. Ability to perform cutting skills on work surfaces, topped with cutting boards, 3 to 4 feet in height (banquet kitchen, prep kitchen, bake shop, etc.). Proper usage and handling of various kitchen machinery to include slicers, buffalo chopper, grinders, mixers, and other kitchen related equipment.
Ability to physically self-demonstrate culinary techniques, i.e., cutting, cooking principles, plate presentation, safety and sanitation practices.
The worker is subject to noise. There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above the ambient noise level.
Must be able to exert well-paced ability in limited space and to reach other locations of the Resort on a timely basis

As one of our talented Cooks, you'll have the opportunity to bring our amazing menus to life. If you can stand the heat-and consistently deliver great food to our guests-then we definitely want you in our kitchen.
A COOK'S SHIFT
Prepare food according to established recipes and menu specs
Follow established food presentation guidelines
Adhere to food and equipment safety rules
Assist with ingredient prep
Expedite food items accurately and efficiently
Receive and check accuracy and quality of food supply orders
Sanitize and organize cooking and serving areas to ensure compliance with Health Department and Lucky Strike Entertainment standards
WHAT IT TAKES

1 Year of Cooking/Hospitality experience is required
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Optional)

Job Duties
Prepares high-quality food: Accurately follows recipes and procedures to consistently deliver exceptional dishes.
Manages station efficiently: Effectively manages assigned station, ensuring timely order fulfillment.
Maintains kitchen cleanliness and safety: Adheres to strict sanitation and safety standards, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Supports team: Collaborates with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations, including assisting with dishwashing as needed.
Complies with regulations: Follows all food safety, handling, and hygiene guidelines.
Reports issues: Promptly reports equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, and incidents.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
High-volume kitchen experience preferred.
Valid state-issued food safety and handling certification.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and procedures.
Physical Demands:
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work in various temperature conditions (hot and cold).
Additional Requirements:
Must be 16 years of age or older (18 years of age to operate certain equipment).
Effective communication skills.
Manual dexterity and coordination.
