Responsibilities MV Transportation is hiring an entry-level Road Supervisor with a strong safety mindset and standard classroom and field training skills. You'll work to prevent incidents, coach operators, and turn observations into practical improvements. Prior transportation experience is not required. Pay Range: $25-27/hour. Pay depends on previous experience. What You'll Do * Conduct ride-alongs, road observations, and gate checks focused on critical safety behaviors (mobility device securement, mirror use, speed management, pull-outs). * Verify operator fitness for duty, PPE, uniform, licensing, and certifications. * Identify hazards (such as traffic, weather, or construction) and recommend safe reroutes or mitigations. * Conduct site checks and road observations in accordance with client and local policies. * Respond to accidents/incidents. * Coordinate post-accident drug/alcohol testing per policy; accompany operators to medical facilities as required. * Support preventability reviews with facts and artifacts; recommend targeted training or process fixes. * Conduct incident investigations as needed. * Monitor on-time performance and route adherence; assist dispatch/maintenance with timely vehicle change-outs. * Complete accurate reports; maintain organized files. * Surface safety trends (hotspots, equipment issues, policy friction) and propose corrective actions. * Fill vacant shifts as necessary to ensure full-service delivery. * Assist operators with service or passenger problems. * Plan and deliver classroom sessions for new hires, refresher training, and other re-training * Build slides/handouts, and lead skills labs (securement checks, skills course, and pre- and post-trip walk-throughs) using adult-learning methods. * Administer and document knowledge/skills checks; maintain training calendars and digital training records. * Other duties as assigned Qualifications Talent Requirements: * Bachelor's degree preferred (any field). Safety, transportation, education/training, or related disciplines a plus. * Strong presentation/facilitation skills; comfortable leading a classroom and hands-on demos. * Solid computer skills: email, spreadsheets, slide tools, etc. * Clear, professional communication (both written and verbal); a respectful, yet firm, coaching style. * Proven self-starter; organized, curious, dependable under time pressure and changing field conditions. * Valid driver's license; able to pass background, MVR, and drug/alcohol screening per policy. * Entry-level welcome.
