As a Part-Time Test Driver, you will drive new and used vehicles through predetermined routes on public roads in multi-vehicle convoys. While there is currently a high demand for test drivers, hours and needs may vary. Therefore, this role is best suited for those looking for part-time additional income rather than primary full-time work. During busy times there may be availability for up to 40 hours as well as weekend work. However, the typical schedule includes Monday through Friday with two 8-hour shifts:
* 1st Shift: 4:00 am to 12:00 pm
* 2nd Shift: 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Other important requirements and considerations include:
* Minimum of 5 years of driving experience with excellent driving record for past 5 years
* Able to safely drive in heavy traffic and adverse weather conditions including rain and snow.
* Safety-sensitive position requiring all persons assigned to activity be drug free. Alcohol consumption is not permitted within 8 hours of any shift.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Must be able to lift 60 lbs.
