The physical therapy provides physical therapy services according to the physician's plan of care ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Provides direct physical therapy in accordance with the physician's plan of care.
2. Treats patients to relieve pain, develop or restore function, and maintain maximum
performance.
3. Directs and aids patients in active and passive therapeutic exercises, muscle
reeducation, gait and functional training, transfer activities and prosthetic training.
4. Utilizes physical agents, including, but not be limited to heat, cold, water, light,
electricity, ultrasound and massage.
5. Observes and reports to the physical therapist and the Organization personnel the
patient's reaction to treatment and any changes in the patient's condition.
6. Instructs patients in care and use of wheelchairs, braces, crutches, canes, and prosthetic
or orthotic devices.
7. Maintains necessary records; clinical notes and conference notes, which will be
incorporated into the patient's clinical record in prescribed time frames.
8. Participates in Organization Home Care Team Members meetings and Organization
In-service Education Program.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
1. With a Diplomate Degree in Physical Therapy.
2. Current certification or license as required by state law.
3. Possesses and maintains current CPR certification.
4. Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state or
organization requirements and is in good working.

Key Responsibilities:
The following are the primary duties and responsibilities of this role. Other related duties may be assigned to meet the business need.
Responsible for application, education, and appropriate use/care of orthopedic soft goods, functional bracing, and bone growth stimulators, and all other Enovis products prescribed by HCPs.
Provides routine customer service to patients, physicians, physician assistants, and other clinical staff.
Performs inventory management and participates in required audits.
Verifies patient benefits using automation tools, including pre-authorization and/or upfront collection of patient responsibility.
Serves as a liaison between the customer, Enovis, and the Sales Team.
Adheres to all Enovis Compliance and Ethics Programs, OIG, government healthcare regulations, regulatory policies and procedures set forth by clinic/hospital, and HIPAA in accordance with government agency requirements.
Minimum Basic Qualifications:
A passion for providing excellent care to HCPs and patients, along with a strong desire to be part of a team dedicated to achieving extraordinary patient results.
A passion for training and mentoring other employees.
Minimum of 4 years of experience providing occupational therapy, physical therapy, or orthotist services as, or under the supervision of, a certified practitioner.
Master's Degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics, Occupational Therapy, or Physical Therapy required.
Holds and maintains active certification and/or licensure with appropriate state regulatory agency required. Includes American Board for Certification (ABC) Certified Orthotist (CO), Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO), Board of Certification (BOC) Certified Orthotist (BOCO), National Board Certification for Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR), or Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT) Licensed Physical Therapist.
Must satisfy third-party credentialing/screening requirements to gain access to hospital accounts.
Must possess a valid Driver's License and current automobile insurance.
Travel Requirements:
Must be able to travel up to 75% of the time.
Overnight travel is not required.
Must be willing to travel to patient homes and various local clinic sites, using own transportation or company-provided vehicle, upon request as dictated by territory.
