Our municipal team specializes in civil engineering services for municipal projects, including water and sewer, stormwater management, road and sidewalk design, and public works facilities. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Performs engineering calculations and design using specialized technical skills, experience and engineering judgment to transform concept designs into construction drawings and technical specifications. Develop plans, specifications and inspection reports as needed on assigned tasks to see that items are complete, accurate, and in accordance with good engineering practice. Is technically involved in the resolution of design problems that may include performing field investigation or inspections, detailed design work and detailed checking of design computations done by others or general coordination of specific design aspects of a project. Assign tasks to and directs engineers, technicians and administrative staff. Work with staff engineers and project managers to ensure projects are executed with strong financial performance related to multipliers, profit, and accounts receivable. Interact with clients, customers, officials, contractors and others in a professional manner. Provides input and financial acumen to pricing and costing of proposals. REQUIREMENTS: Self-driven, energetic, and motivated team player with the capability to effectively work on multiple projects/tasks. Excellent written, communication and presentation skills. Professional Engineer registration in Washington. Must have a minimum of 6 years of progressive civil engineering design experience, with public sector projects. You will partner with a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers to solve complex environmental problems and advance remediation programs.
