The Position The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Intern will support EHS initiatives at Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals by contributing to the development and expansion of a Learning Management System (LMS) and supporting site-wide safety programs. This internship offers hands-on experience working with scientists and laboratory personnel to help mitigate risks associated with new chemicals and processes. The intern will gain practical exposure to training development, compliance activities, and day-to-day EHS operations within a pharmaceutical environment. This is an 11-week Summer Internship Program paying $21.00 per hour and requires full-time, onsite work five days per week at the designated location. Responsibilities Support the build-out and management of a Learning Management System (LMS), including development of training content and program tracking. Work with scientists to help identify and mitigate risks associated with new chemicals or processes. Interface existing EHS programs with the LMS to streamline training and recordkeeping for Hazardous Waste, Bloodborne Pathogens, and other site-specific safety programs. Conduct weekly and monthly inspections of safety equipment throughout the facility. Assist with new hire onboarding and EHS training. Manage and maintain EHS compliance documentation. Shadow EHS professionals during compliance audits and inspections. Present updates and findings in a weekly group setting. Interact with laboratory personnel to build practical, hands-on safety experience. Requirements Currently enrolled student at an accredited university or college, pursuing a Bachelor's degree. Strong interest in learning the EHS function within a pharmaceutical company. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. The Music Therapy Intern delivers patient/family focused care for assigned patients under the direction of the staff music therapists. Park Nicollet is part of the larger Health Partners health care system. The Park Nicollet Health Partners internship is a comprehensive medical Music Therapy internship where Music Therapy interns gain experience in many medical settings and populations. The main location for interns is based out of the Methodist Hospital Campus in St. Louis Park (a suburb of Minneapolis). Other part-time or optional locations extend to Bloomington, St. Paul and Stillwater. Park Nicollet's American Music Therapy Association national roster internship program began in 1998. AMTA requires all prospective applicants to have completed a four year or Master's equivalency degree in Music Therapy at an AMTA approved academic program, before beginning this internship. Interns must be able to provide their own transportation between work locations multiple times each day, including one hospital (Methodist, Regions or Lakeview), Frauenshuh Cancer Center, Struthers Parkinson's Center, Home Hospice Offices, and the homes of hospice patients. Interns must be able to carry and transport music therapy equipment, such as electric piano keyboards, guitars and other musical instruments, to and from the hospice locations, multiple times each day. Pharmacy Students in their 2nd-4th year may check the work completed by pharmacy technicians, The Pharmacy Student Intern in their 3rd or 4th year of pharmacy school may also be eligible to assist the Emergency Center Pharmacist with medication reconciliation and the Hospice Program Pharmacist with hospice chart review. Work Schedule: One evening a week/every 3rd weekend. Required Qualifications: Currently enrolled in an accredited professional pharmacy program. Must have a valid driver's license and meet the insurability requirements relating to Park Nicollet's motor vehicle violation criteria. Must be registered with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician (first year intern) or as a Pharmacy Intern (second through fourth year intern).
