What You'll Do In this role, you will: Provide general nursing care to patients in accordance with provider orders and nursing standards Administer prescribed medications, injections, and treatments safely and accurately Perform routine diagnostic tests and procedures, including vital signs, EKGs, specimen collection, wound care, and sterile dressing changes Collect, document, process, and handle blood, urine, and other specimens per standing orders and provider direction Prepare patients for exams and procedures, including screening for appropriate clinical information Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during examinations, treatments, and testing Observe, document, and report patient conditions, responses to medications, and treatment outcomes Maintain efficient patient flow throughout the clinic Prepare, stock, and maintain exam rooms and treatment areas Formulate, update, and maintain patient care plans and medical charts Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Assist with referrals, diagnostics, and follow-up tasks in a timely manner Maintain tracking and documentation for UDS, HEDIS, and care gap measures Perform quality control (QC) testing and maintain QC records Monitor and maintain emergency kits, oxygen tanks, medications, and supplies Assist with inventory management and cost-effective ordering of clinical supplies Adhere to all Clinical/Nursing Department policies and procedures Comply with Infection Control, CLIA, OSHA, and biomedical waste regulations Participate in professional development and required training Perform other duties as assigned to support smooth and efficient clinic operations What Success Looks Like You will thrive in this role if you are: βœ” Detail-oriented and committed to patient safety βœ” Confident in clinical nursing skills and procedures βœ” Compassionate, professional, and patient-centered βœ” Organized and efficient in a fast-paced environment βœ” Comfortable with EMR documentation and quality metrics βœ” A collaborative team player who supports providers and clinic staff βœ” Adaptable and calm under pressure Required Skills & Competencies Medication administration, injections, phlebotomy, and specimen handling Vital signs, EKGs, wound care, and basic diagnostic procedures Strong clinical assessment and patient-monitoring skills Accurate documentation and proficiency with EHR/EMR systems Knowledge of infection control, OSHA, and safety standards Time management and multitasking abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills Patient education and health instruction Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills Understanding of HIPAA, confidentiality, and ethical standards Ability to work independently while collaborating with a care team Education & Experience Completion of a state-approved Practical Nursing (LPN) program Active Florida LPN licensure with successful completion of the NCLEX-PN Previous clinical or healthcare experience preferred (new graduates welcome to apply) Experience in outpatient or primary care settings preferred Physical Requirements This role requires: Standing and walking for extended periods throughout the clinic day Occasional lifting up to 25-30 lbs. (equipment, supplies, oxygen tanks) Frequent bending, reaching, and stooping during patient care Manual dexterity for injections, blood draws, and equipment use Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment Emotional resilience and stamina to support patients with diverse needs πŸ’™ Why Join PanCare?
