How you will change lives As a Patient Care Technician (PCT) at US Renal Care, you will be an integral part of a cross-functional team providing care and delegated activities of treatment to patients. The PCT will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Charge Nurse (CN) for patients with renal failure. What you'll be doing Patient care. You will work directly with patients to provide safe, comfortable, and high-quality dialysis treatment. Note you will have exposure to blood, needles, and various other bodily fluids. This position provides direct patient care that regularly involves heavy lifting, moving of patients, and assisting with ambulation. PCT will spend considerable time walking, bending, stretching, and standing. The employee may occasionally be required to move machines, equipment, and may lift chemical and water solutions of up to 30 pounds and high as five feet. You are required to acknowledge the inter-facility coverage policy that supports floating to various clinics during and after your training, if needed.
