JOB TITLE: Patient Care Technician (Part Time) Assists patient in ambulating from area to area throughout the Center as necessary. Has knowledge of different medical equipment used by the patient (wheelchair, scooter, cane, oxygen apparatus) and assist patient as necessary. Assists with the Priors Management Grid (receiving and validating priors). Obtains, imports, and validates prior outside studies. 8. Prepares images and paperwork to be sent for interpretation. Sends images through the PACS system to the appropriate location as needed. 9. Contacts referring provider office to obtain updated order and to clarify orders when needed. 10. Collaborates with the Patient Scheduling Coordinator when there is a change in exam/prep for the scheduled patient. 11. Other duties as assigned.
