Essential Functions:
· Under the guidance of shop leadership or senior mechanics, assist with the inspection of brake systems, engine components, emission systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings and other important parts to ensure they are in proper operating condition.
· Basic knowledge of preventative maintenance including tire, oil and brake changes.
· Active participation in training classes and development opportunities to increase skills and working knowledge.
· Test drive trucks to diagnose malfunctions and ensure they are working properly.
· Under supervision, perform DOT, PM, brake and safety inspections on all vehicles. Perform PM and safety inspections.
· Complete work orders, order parts and perform other administrative duties as required daily.
· Complete work as scheduled by shop supervision or higher-grade technicians.
· Ensure safe working conditions and compliance with all safety regulations.
· Maintain a clean work area.
· Basic knowledge of Hydraulic systems.
Education, Training, Experience and Licensing/Certification Requirements:
· Entry-level knowledge/experience of at least 1+ years.
· Willingness to learn more complex diagnostic and repair process.
· Knowledge of DOT, OSHA and other related state and federal regulations.
· Ability to communicate effectively across various levels of the organization and communicate with customers and external vendors.
· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals.
· Experience using diagnostic software is preferred. Must be computer literate and willing and able to be trained in software systems.
· Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred, or the willingness and ability to obtain one within six (6) months of employment.
· ASE certifications preferred.

· Ability to stand, sit, walk, use hands and fingers, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, climb, balance.
· Continuous concentrated mental and visual attention required.

Level I - Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of one year of experience in office technical clerical work.
Level II - Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of two years of technical clerical work or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Level III - Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of two years of technical clerical experience plus one year of technical clerical experience in a vocational rehabilitation program; or a bachelor's degree in rehabilitation counseling, orientation and mobility, rehabilitation teaching or vocational evaluation; or a bachelor's degree in education, a behavioral science or a closely related field and one year of experience in career counseling, job placement, habilitation or a rehabilitation related field.

Special Requirements
Some positions may require proficiency in American Sign Language as demonstrated by the successful completion of a competency test administered by the Deaf and Hearing Impaired Unit of the Department of Rehabilitation Services.

Position is located in the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation in Stillwater (VR44).
Essential Functions: This position is responsible for maintaining physical and scanned files according to agency filing standards. Duties include timely and accurate processing of case information through the client data system, including but not limited to applications, eligibility data, Individual Plans for Employment (IPE's), case narratives and authorizations per agency policy; assisting the VR Specialists in all phases of case management including applications, interviews, arranging and gathering diagnostic information, running monthly reports, gathering verification information and sending case related correspondences. Additional duties include performing general office and reception duties; as well as obtaining information necessary to make appropriate referrals to additional or alternative resources.
Applicant must be willing to perform all job-related travel.

Clean and sterilize instruments and equipment after use.
Administer injections, medications, eye and ear irrigations, dress/bandage wound and incisions, start/monitor IV, draw blood according to written order, and assist provider with any procedures. (per provider orders)
Perform diagnostic tests including eye exams, electrocardiograph, cardiac monitor, oxygen equipment, pulse ox, peak flow and inhalation treatment equipment.
Perform CLIA-waived lab tests, draw blood and collect, label and process specimens for reference lab according to physician orders.
Perform both DOT, Non-DOT urine drug screens, using proper chain of custody; ensure preparation for pick-up and shipment to appropriate laboratory.
Perform dosage calculations for administering medications.
Remove sutures/staples and change sterile and non-sterile dressings. (per provider orders)
Where applicable, perform basic x-rays or assist radiology technician with x-ray set-up.
Complete medical record to include medical services rendered, test results, and supplies used.
Perform patient call backs, verify DOB, arrange referrals and testing, and schedule follow-up appointments.
Ensure all patient and patient related telephone calls are documented in the medical record/EMR.
Restock examination rooms with adequate supplies.
Cleans examination room after patient visit.
Monitor disposable inventory and notifies appropriate persons of supplies and pharmaceuticals needed
Monitor medication expiration dates.
Perform quality checks on medical equipment including CLIA waived controls.
Demonstrate ongoing competency and proficiency in clinical job requirements.
Assist registration staff and perform additional clerical duties as necessary.
Assist with the orientation of new personnel.
Participate in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations.

Requirements:
Education
High school diploma or equivalent.

Positions in this job family are involved in the transportation of ill, injured, handicapped, or delinquent juveniles within, to and from hospitals, facilities, or institutions. This includes transporting and assisting juveniles, ensuring vehicle is adequately maintained, and maintaining records and submitting activity reports.
Typical Functions
Transports juveniles in facility vehicles, escorts juveniles on trips, and provides juveniles with personal advice and assistance.
Maintains vehicle in perfect operating condition, including performing routine maintenance and repairs, orders parts, supplies and equipment.
Maintains records and prepares and submits activity reports.
Provide safe and secure transport services for OJA custody youth to and from placement, juvenile detention centers, court hearings, and various other appointments, such as medical, dental, and mental health evaluations.
Responsible for transporting juveniles in restraints when required.
Responsible for transporting to and from dentist, counseling, youth services, and/or other providers as identified.
May supervise residents.
Assigned other duties may include, but not limited to, delivering Christmas gifts, assisting with hospital coverage if not already scheduled for a transport, assisting state office in delivering personal protective equipment (PPE), etc.
Level Descriptor
This job family consists of only one level and employees are responsible for performing all functions involving the transportation of juveniles. In this role they will perform routine duties driving a van or other vehicle to transport juveniles, transporting medical supplies or equipment. They will be responsible for meeting established schedules of transport. Responsibilities may include the supervision of residents and other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
Education and Experience requirements consist of six months experience as an ambulance driver, commercial chauffeur, bus driver, taxi driver or in a similar field. All direct-care staff shall be at least 21 years of age and possess a high school diploma or its equivalent (10 O.S. § 401 et seq.).
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities required include knowledge of simple health and safety precautions; of basic automotive maintenance; of basic first aid methods; and of safe operation of motor vehicles.
Ability is required to quickly appraise a situation and adopt an effective course of action; to follow both oral and written instructions; to exercise independent judgment and initiative in moving or escorting juveniles; to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others; and to drive safely under adverse conditions. To positively interact with residents of various racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds; to remain alert and act quickly and appropriately in emergency situations; and to physically and appropriately handle escapees and violent or unruly juvenile residents.
Special Requirements
Applicants must possess a valid Oklahoma Driver License at the time of employment and maintain a valid license while employed in this job family.
