SUMMARY:
CARES is a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week, Medicaid-funded mental health crisis line for children, adolescents, and adult Illinois residents. The nature of the work associated with the Crisis Call Center is to provide resources to callers who are experiencing a suicidal, self-harming, aggressive, and/or psychotic episode and need therapeutic support.
Line Agents are responsible for taking incoming crisis calls, completing an initial clinical assessment, and determining the next level of service. The Line Agent is responsible for dispatching referrals in a timely manner, making subsequent follow-up calls as needed, and ensuring the quality and integrity of data entry.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:
Administration: Have the ability to multitask duties and systems, which include but are not limited to: answering crisis calls, completing initial clinical assessments, identifying outcomes and follow-up services, utilizing spreadsheets, and navigating computer-based data entry programs.
Communication: Effective and consistent written and verbal communication is required both internally and externally. Provide clear, accurate, and concise narratives concerning client behaviors that are reported to stakeholders and funders. Effective listening and strong verbal communication skills are also required.
Computer Operations: Line Agents are required to have the ability to proficiently view and enter data, properly open and close spreadsheets, folders, drives, and programs, minimize and maximize documents, open and close browsers, and develop a workflow to navigate between programs. Minimally type 40 wpm, understand keyboard functions, and have basic troubleshooting knowledge.
HIPAA: Adhere to HIPAA laws and regulations. Remote office space must meet HIPAA standards.
Quality Improvement: Participate in the agency's ongoing quality improvement efforts.
Other Functions: The Agency may assign different functions to the job at its discretion.

Position Summary
We are seeking a Board-Certified (or Board-Eligible) Psychiatrist to provide high-quality tele-psychiatric services. This position supports primary care and behavioral health providers by delivering comprehensive psychiatric care for adults, children, and adolescents. Key Responsibilities
Provide continuous, comprehensive psychiatric treatment for adults, children, and adolescents via tele-health in accordance with evidence-based guidelines.
Review and document patient histories; assess behavioral health conditions for individuals and families.
Administer and interpret validated screening tools (PHQ-2, PHQ-9, GAD-7, Vanderbilt, etc.) to establish care baselines and monitor progress.

Order and interpret diagnostic tests as clinically appropriate.

Prepare accurate medical records, clinical reports, and correspondence.
Support quality improvement initiatives and participate in staff meetings and trainings.
Meet or exceed productivity goals (2.7+ encounters per day/week).
Complete all required Core Curriculum training and continuing education.

Qualifications
Doctorate of Medicine (MD/DO) from an accredited institution.
Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency program.
Board Certification (or eligibility) in Psychiatry with ongoing maintenance of certification.
Active, unrestricted Illinois medical license and DEA registration.
Current CPR certification.
Demonstrated experience in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of diverse mental health conditions.
Fluency in Spanish preferred.

SUMMARY:
CARES is a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week, Medicaid-funded mental health crisis line for children, adolescents, and adult Illinois residents. The nature of the work associated with the Crisis Call Center is to provide resources to callers who are experiencing a suicidal, self-harming, aggressive, and/or psychotic episode and need therapeutic support.
Line Agents are responsible for taking incoming crisis calls, completing an initial clinical assessment, and determining the next level of service. The Line Agent is responsible for dispatching referrals in a timely manner, making subsequent follow-up calls as needed, and ensuring the quality and integrity of data entry.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:

Communication: Effective and consistent written and verbal communication is required both internally and externally. Position Summary

1. Ph.D. in Psychology. Must have a valid Vermont License and be licensed with 3rd party reimbursable approval.
2. At least three years of professional experience in mental health or human services preferably in an outpatient setting.
a. Cognitive: A minimum of 5 years experience in delivery of cognitive services or a formal Neuropsychology Post-Doctoral fellowship with a minimum of one year experience.
b. Forensic: A minimum of 5 years experience in delivery of forensic related psychological evaluation and services or a formal Forensic Post-Doctoral fellowship with a minimum of one year experience.
c. Eating Disorder: A minimum of 5 years experience in delivery of eating disorder related psychological evaluation and services or a formal Eating-Disorder Post-Doctoral fellowship with a minimum of one year experience.

Vice President of Admissions (Remote)

Discovery's senior management team and Board have committed to attracting a world-class executive as Vice President, Admissions. The primary mission for the VP, Admissions will be the rapid development and disciplined execution of a fully integrated admissions operating model; delivering day-to-day consistency, scalable processes, and best-in-class performance management across a large, multi-site intake organization. The VP, Admissions will partner with executive leadership (including the CGO and operational leaders) to set and execute the strategic direction for all admissions functions, spanning inquiry management, intake workflows, conversion execution, capacity coordination, and performance reporting. In addition to requiring a best-in-class operator and an individual adept at building and scaling standardized workflows, this role calls for a metrics-driven leader who can lead leaders using rigorous KPI/forecasting tools, enforce consistent operating cadence, and thoughtfully embed enabling technology (including AI-assisted reporting and workflow enhancements) to improve speed, quality, and conversion outcomes.
Essential Job Functions:
* Immerse themself in the Discovery opportunity, including current performance, program/site variability, and patient/payer dynamics. Conduct a thorough audit of admissions workflows, intake practices, staffing models, and enabling systems across the enterprise.
* Partner with the CGO to refine the strategic and tactical direction of Admissions and focus the management team and admissions organization into action through a standardized operating model, clear KPIs, and rigorous performance expectations.
* Take an aggressive, metrics-driven approach in leading the admissions organization; refine the admissions playbook to improve speed-to-contact, clinical screening quality, payer/navigation effectiveness, and conversion outcomes; deploy a standard intake/admissions process leveraging technology and reporting tools to drive throughput, forecasting accuracy, and individual accountability.
* Drive the recruitment, training, and building of a world-class admissions team (coordinators and Directors). Serve as a coach and mentor to Directors, empowering them to achieve professional development and performance goals while molding the overall organization into a highly skilled, high performing, patient-centered team.
* Reinforce and build upon Discovery's reputation as an outstanding patient- and family-focused organization; identify best practices within Discovery and related industry sectors and infuse same into the admissions strategy and DNA of the organization, ensuring consistent, high-quality experiences across all touchpoints.
* Partner closely with Operations and Clinical leadership to align admissions execution with capacity, acuity, program criteria, and care delivery realities; establish an "ecosystem" of internal partnerships that improves patient placement, reduces leakage, and strengthens continuity from first contact through admission.
* Develop an efficient and effective admissions contact center and reporting model to streamline patient engagement, intake progression, and conversion. Implement robust dashboards/AI-enabled reporting to measure and optimize performance at every stage of the funnel (daily/weekly cadence), with demonstrated experience leveraging call center and CRM/admissions application technology.
Knowledge, Education, Experience:
* Currently functioning as a senior-level Admissions executive with a minimum of five years of increasingly responsible experience and superior accomplishment in behavioral health admissions and management.
* Premium will be placed on those who have experienced/catalyzed a major ramp-up and have digested and optimized challenges during a period of rapid expansion.
* In-depth knowledge of the greater healthcare landscape and a profound understanding of the trends, challenges and opportunities facing the industry; They will also have an appreciation of Discovery's unique position within the industry.

Hybrid Remote Mental Health Therapist

The Therapist works in a dynamic multidisciplinary team providing treatment services according to the Professional Psychiatric Services under DBH. Therapist responsibilities include providing therapy services, leading therapy groups, facilitating clinical assessments, conducting individual sessions, and other tasks as detailed below. Essential Job Functions:
* Ensures clinical documentation is completed with PPS division policy guidelines
* Establish therapeutic rapport with patients and families/loved ones.
* Delivers 20-25 hours of direct client hours each week to outpatient clients.
* Facilitate intensive outpatient program groups 3 times a week
* Facilitates admission assessments and the admission process for new patients with professionalism, courtesy, and a welcoming attitude.
* Clinical supervision as required.
* Participates in weekly team meetings and communicates patient treatment goals with all team members as needed.
* Completes appropriate number of therapy sessions weekly for patients, including family/support system sessions aligned with the patients' level of care.
* Provides utilization reviews to insurance companies, providing appropriate clinical information to obtain initial authorization and continuing stay authorization, as necessary.
* Communicate with the billing department to provide information about services rendered as therapy.
* Participates in research planning, analysis, development, and presentation.
* Provides training and support to clinical care coordinator as needed.
* Actively participates in prior authorizations and utilization review for TMS, Spravato, and medications
* Assists with accreditation and credentialing efforts as needed.
* Collaborate with the Office Manager to complete tasks related as requested.
* Supports the development of new therapeutic initiatives and programs as needed.
* Advocate for clients when necessary
* Refer patients across Discovery Behavioral Health brands and service lines as clinically indicated
* Consult on potential referrals filtering into practice from other Discovery Behavioral Health brands as clinically indicated
* Back up technician for TMS and Spravato as necessary
* Therapeutic intervention for patients undergoing Spravato and Esketamine treatment
* Providing integrative therapy for patients undergoing services withing practice
* Other various duties as assigned
Core Competencies:
* Knowledge of the diagnosis for a variety of metal health concerns across an array of populations
* Considerable knowledge of the methods and modalities of behavioral health
* Ability to readily establish rapport with client populations.
* Ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively verbally and in writing.

Knowledge, Education, & Experience:
* Master's or Doctorate degree in relevant field, required
* Completion of state requirements to obtain provisional licensure and later state clinical license to conduct therapeutic interventions required
* Obtain BLS, CPR, AED, and First Aid certification within 90 days of hire
* Must possess a current driver's license and be in good standing
