This labor-intensive position is responsible for hand building pallets of product for bulk, and route trucks. Each type of loading requires strict attention to order accuracy with respect to loading outgoing trucks and unloading incoming trucks. Works from Electronic order system or order sheets to build loads using a forklift and/or electronic pallet jack. Position is responsible for accuracy in loading and complying with shipper/receiver documentation. Follows warehouse instructions in building loads (). Employees must maintain a clean and safe work environment. Position may be required to work across a wide variety of weather conditions and hours, shift duration depends on work load and may vary daily.
Transport truck loading involves moving full pallets of products from the warehouse onto a trailer and removing any returned pallets/plastic flats. Responsible for unloading raw materials and placing them in designated warehouse space.
Bulk truck loading involves selecting designated packages and flavors of products from the warehouse and loading them onto a pallet. Position is responsible for maintaining the stability of the pallet through proper stacking and shrink-wrapping. In most cases, pallets are loaded onto a trailer for local delivery. Position is responsible for unloading returned products and pallets/plastic flats.
Route truck loading involves selecting designated packages and flavors or pallets of products from the warehouse and loading them into the truck. Product/packages for each truck are customized based on the salespersons order. Position is responsible for unloading returned products and pallets/plastic flats.
Position requires lifting a very high volume of cases of product per day from 20-45 pounds per case repeatedly during a long work period. Requires constant standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting reaching and grasping as product is moved.
PRIMARY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Drive power pallet jack or forklift to picking area and build pallet/load according to load sheet or voice pick audio equipment (if applicable)
* Mark load ticket for out of stock items
* Wrap pallet when pallet/load is finished
* Turn in paper work with order for check before loading and have truck checked
* Stage pallet and/or load into truck when ready
* Complete partial pallets and put away mixed pallets
* Maintain proper housekeeping standards in work area
* Regular, reliable, predictable attendance
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
* 18 years or older
HELPFUL EXPERIENCE:
* Experience working in a warehouse environment (e.g., order selector/picking product storage, product staging, powered pallet jack/forklifts, etc.)
* Driving a forklift (e.g., performing basic operations such as driving forwards, driving backwards, lifting and lowering boom, maneuvering in tight areas without damaging product, etc.)
* Working with racking systems and loading/unloading pallets (e.g., pulling and placing pallets on/off vertical product racking systems and trucks, maximizing storage by stacking products vertically, etc.)
* Experience working in a team environment (e.g., cooperating with co-workers, joint problem solving, etc.)

Position Overview:
Reporting to the Warehouse and Distribution Manager, this position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of warehouse operations including shipping schedules, loading operations and material handling activities (processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials, and equipment). This position works at our Neenah, WI Distribution Center 5:45pm to 6:00am on a 2-2-3 schedule.
Responsibilities:
Distribution, Transportation & Warehousing:
Assisting in designing and managing optimal space and storage plan for existing and new warehouse facilities.
Maintain warehousing and distribution center contacts.
Participate in innovative warehousing and distribution programs and processes.
Inbound and outbound transportation management from/to production and distribution facilities.
Assist to develop warehouse and distribution center team.
Coordination of product deployment from internal or 3rd party manufacturing locations to distribution centers in accordance with overall planning strategies
Work cross-functionally to supply offerings such as factory direct, modular pallets, and customer pickup shipments. Using transportation expenses as a guide, recommend the process for customer returns and sample order shipments.
Assist with the activities relating to loss/damage claims in partnership with customer service. The specific activities include the investigation, timely filing, and collection of the claims.
Direct and coordinate all aspects of warehouse operations including shipping schedules, loading operations and material handling activities (processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials, and equipment.
Prepare schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and optimize warehouse space.
Develop, communicate, and monitor work schedules and policies/procedures.
Oversee the inspection of incoming goods and ensures damaged goods are returned and/or credit is received as appropriate.
Hires, develops, and reviews warehouse staff.
Seek out and implement innovative warehousing and distribution programs and processes.
Provide input and analysis as part of the annual warehouse budgeting process.
Manages inbound scheduling process with vendors / carriers to control the flow of product into the building while maintaining level-of-service goals.
Works with Inventory Planning to resolve vendor issues on delivery.
Ensures receipts are reconciled against purchase orders and proper paperwork is forwarded to Accounts Payable and the inventory planning team.
Ensures product meets standards for quality and product specifications for all inbound receipts.
Maintains receiving accuracy in item identification, quantity acknowledged, and putaway activities.
Ensures timely and accurate replenishment.
Determines proper staffing levels needed based on work volume and productivity and effectively forecasts needs.
Ensure service goals are met in all areas of responsibility.
Works with other managers to plan and allocate resources across the building.
Ensures BPMs are in place and followed.
Responsible for data integrity and accurate data management within the ERP and WMS.
Ensures housekeeping is maintained.
Pursues initiatives to improve department efficiency leading to lower operating costs, improved quality, and/or improved safety.
Inventory & Production Planning
Participate in inventory strategy development and execute inventory planning process and analysis.
Ensure inventory accuracy to include proper age rotation and date code integrity.
Ensure that systems and procedures are in place and executed to enable full trace of all production in the case of a food safety or other product recall. This includes product residing in third party warehouses, contract manufacturers or co-packers.
Review sales and finished goods inventory data in partnership with sales, operations, or customer service team members to adjust plans as needed to respond effectively to unexpected sales trends and/or inventory balances.
Facilitate production planning tools and processes and assist scheduler with execution and decision making as needed.
Participate in sales forecasting process.
Monitor product age ensuring product freshness.Communicate with Marketing, Sales, and Finance on age issues or concerns.
Ensure ERP system master data management, integrity, and maintenance for assigned area.
Qualifications:
3+ years hands-on experience in a food industry or related manufacturing facility.
Track record of successfully selecting, planning, and implementing new 3rd party vendor (warehouse, transportation, etc.) Experience starting up new internal warehousing including design, planning and execution while meeting service, quality, and cost requirements.
Knowledge of food packaging principles, food industry quality and food safety requirements, and new product scale up dynamics.
Demonstrated strength in process improvement, SOP documentation and employee training.
Experience in managing information within an ERP system. ERP implementation experience is preferred.
Understanding of the basics of change management and has effectively led large scale changes or process improvements.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and simultaneous user needs.

SUMMARY OF OPPORTUNITY:
The Senior Food and Distribution Manager reports to the Director of Foodservice and assumes the overall responsibility to develop, implement, and administer a system for the procurement, production, distribution and inventory of all purchased food, supplies, and equipment for the Foodservice Department and its operating units. WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Core Duties and Responsibilities
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Supports the Director with organizational strategy, long-term initiatives, and critical objectives to align department goals.
* Assumes responsibility as a member of the senior foodservice team for planning, coordinating, and managing foodservice functional areas to ensure all standards are accomplished and maintained effectively, efficiently, and accurately. Identifies defects, recommends corrections, and implements procedural changes.

Acts as person in charge in absence of the Director of Foodservice.

The Parts Warehouse Receiver will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy through meticulous and timely processing for daily parts receipts, RGAs, vendor claims, and return transfers from other warehouse locations. As well as maintaining an organized and picking efficient inventory.

Responsible for the daily receipt and processing of parts deliveries via small package, LTL and Wesco trucks
Responsible for the daily receipt and processing of returns from customers and will work closely with the customer service team to ensure that all RGAs are being handled quickly and accurately
Responsible for receipt and processing of all inbound stock transfers from other Wesco Turf locations
Responsible for maintaining an accurate and organized RGA shelf for returned items pending vendor claims or location assignment
Responsible for maintaining and locating special customer ordered product as well as newly stocked product (NOLO)
Responsible for prompt put-away and location assignment of all received product
Responsible for weekly processing of vendor claims
Responsible for scrapping inventory as directed
Responsible for keeping organized and detailed files for all RGAs, vendor claims and stock transfers
Responsible for inspection of all returned parts to ensure that they are in new and sellable condition which may require working with our service department
Responsible for assisting in the Toro weekly stock order receipt and put-away
Responsible for maintaining bin location availability using NO OH NO OO reports
Responsible for maintaining supplies inventories i.e. boxes, labels, bags, etc.
Responsible for assisting with pulling, packing and shipping when needed
Required to keep a clean and organized workspace
Required to operate forklifts (sit-down and stand-up)
Required to operate utility carts
Required to learn the Prelude inventory control system
Required to learn and utilize RF scan guns
Required to build and maintain working relationships and lines of communication with all associates interacted with
Required to promote teamwork and cooperation with all Wesco Turf associates across all departments
Required to improve their skills and themselves either by formal education in a related area or by on-the-job training beyond their current position
Requires the ability to multitask and handle stressful situations, responding to the needs of internal and external customers in a timely manner
Must be dependable and punctual
Must be willing and able to take and follow direction
Must be able to work independently
Must have a valid driver license and reliable transportation

Summary
The Operations Supervisor directs and coordinates activities of the warehouse associates and all operations related to the receipt, storage, and distribution of product.

Responsibilities

Ensures timely and accurate shipments of orders from the distribution center.
Effectively utilizes and ensures compliance with BD's inventory control and warehouse management systems.
Ensures departmental procedures, SOPs and work instructions are updated and training provided to associates as required. Ensures all associates follow C2C training guidelines.
Plans work schedules and assigns duties to maintain adequate staffing levels; ensures activities are performed effectively and is able to handle fluctuating workloads.
Reviews work throughout the work process and at completion to ensure that it has been performed accurately and efficiently.
Evaluates employee performance; prepares performance appraisals; prepares and maintains work records and reports that include information such as employees' time and inspection results.
Conducts staff meetings to relay general information or to address specific topics such as safety, quality, policy changes, etc.
Recommends or initiates personnel actions such as promotions, transfers, and disciplinary measures; resolves personnel problems complaints or refers them to higher-level management for resolution.
Must be able to work a flexible shift and weekends as business requirements instruct.
Responsible for following and monitoring/correcting associates in Good Documentation Practices (GDP) as outlined in the SOP's and work instructions.
Must ensure safety first environment and be able to work diligently to maintain safe working conditions and adhere to proper operating practices and procedures designed to prevent injuries and illnesses.

Requirements
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Associate's degree from two-year college or technical school and two to three years' related experience.
High school diploma or GED and four to five years' related work experience.
Ability to operate MHE
Minimum of three years' supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment.
