Cleans, washes, and disinfects bathroom sinks, toilets, tubs, showers, and floors, and polishes chrome bathroom fixtures. Cleans windows and mirrors in bathrooms, entrance/exit ways, patio doors, etc. Cleans all floors and baseboards by disinfecting, sweeping, dust mopping, wet mopping, waxing, buffing, etc. Vacuums carpets and carpeted stairways. Cleans walls and ceilings by wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, etc. Ensures that work area are clean (i.e. cart, car, and/or closet for supplies) and that equipment, tools, supplies, etc. are in proper working order. Ensures that an adequate supply of housekeeping and cleaning supplies are maintained. Quality, Compliance, and Risk Management - 10% Ensures that established quality assurance, infection control, and universal precaution practices are maintained when performing housekeeping procedures. For community employees, reports any damage or repairs to facilities, supplies, or equipment needing done to the supervisor. Willingly and consistently shares observations and insights of departmental operations that may improve quality and efficiencies of department. Attends all-employee and departmental meetings and in-service training as scheduled or as directed. Clean work/supply carts, equipment, etc. as necessary or directed. 9. Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned. 10. Perform specific tasks in accordance with daily assignments. 11. Clean/polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units, etc. in resident rooms, recreational areas, etc. daily as instructed. 12. Clean, wash, sanitize, and/or polish bathroom fixtures. 13. Clean floors, to include sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, striping, waxing, buffing, disinfecting, etc. 14. Clean carpets, to include vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting, etc. 15. Clean walls and ceiling by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting, deodorizing, etc. 16. remove dirt, dust, grease, film, etc. from surfaces using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions. 17. Clean hallways. 18. Discard waste trash into proper containers and reline trash receptacle with plastic liners. 19. Clean vacant rooms as assigned. 20. Discard infectious wastes into appropriate containers. 21. Maintain the confidentiality of resident information. 22. Honor the residents' personal and property rights. 23. Essential Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities: Cook Duties: Follows daily individual job duties as designated by the Dining Services Manager Assist with preparation and serving of meals for residents and staff. Assist in maintaining food inventory to ensure the kitchen is adequately stocked with fresh and non-expired food. Assists in completing all necessary documentation for the USDA Food Programs. Assist with budgets and food cost goals. Previous experience in working with children/adolescents helpful. Knowledge of state and federal guidelines and requirements. Must possess basic reading, writing, and math skills to complete necessary documents. Valid Ohio Driver's License and maintains a driving record that allows that individual to be insurable with the insurance company providing The Village Network with vehicle insurance. Interpersonal skill ability to be able to work with students, staff, vendors, agencies, and administrators. Moderate communication skills, ability to multitask, and be creative in food preparation for special events; ability to work with varied multi-disciplinary team of professionals.
