What you'll do…
We are looking for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician with experience in low-voltage and 3-phase power systems, generator maintenance, and field-based troubleshooting. This position requires hands-on work in the field-outdoors, in all weather-maintaining and repairing switchgear, generators, circuit breakers, and 24V control cabinets. You will work remotely in the field at the location specified in the job posting and will report directly to the Area Manager for that region.
You'll make an impact by:
* Performing routine electrical maintenance on generators, switchgear, circuit breakers, and 24V control cabinets.
* Troubleshooting and repairing 3-phase power systems, wiring, and generator controls.
* Diagnosing faults in electrical panels, motor controls, and 24V systems.
* Working with mechanical teams on equipment swaps and alternator repairs.
* Using test equipment like multimeters and meggers to validate system function.
* Accurately logging work orders and tracking time via mobile tools and apps.
* Following all safety procedures and company policies.
* Safely prepare, operate, and maintain a motor vehicle for purposes of conduction company business.
Requirements
You'll sweep us off our feet if you:
* Demonstrate profound knowledge of electrical power distribution and control systems design.
* Possess mechanical systems experience.
* Have Technical hands-on Experience or equivalent relevant experience.
* Have hands-on experience with PLC systems (Deep Sea Electronics and AcSELerator).
* Exhibit a solid understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
What you'll need:
* 3+ years of electrical maintenance experience-preferably with generators, switchgear, or 24V controls.
* Proficiency in generator theory, AC/DC circuit theory, protection relays, and electrical troubleshooting practices.
* Ability to interpret Electrical and Mechanical schematics.
* Strong multitasking capabilities to manage multiple projects.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Must possess valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; successfully pass Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check to ensure compliance with company standards and safe driving practices.
* Attention to Detail- Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail

* Flexibility-Technician have a rotating on call schedule. Must have availability to work evenings, weekends and/or holidays.

Summary
Inspect, maintain, and perform minor to moderate repairs on “Compressed Natural Gas” (CNG), “Liquefied Natural Gas” (LNG), and/or “Liquid to Compressed Natural Gas” (LCNG) fueling equipment, including compressors, dispensers, priority panels, dryers, storage tanks and other related equipment. During inspections, Service Technician I will identify corrective action and/or proactive maintenance service actions required on CNG / LNG / LCNG equipment and generate service orders for completion or assignment to Service Tech II, III, or Master Technicians. Additionally, Service Technician I will ensure that assigned stations are operationally prepared for our customers by cleaning and wiping down equipment, removing visible trash and ensuring trash containers are emptied. Work on PM's and rebuild as secondary manpower under direction of Tech 2, 3, or Master. Fill in for other technicians as required within the region. At times, this position will provide information and assistance to the public or Clean Energy Contracted customers. This position works closely with maintenance planners, field service support, field technicians and/or Operations management to ensure that issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Electrical:
Basic electrical troubleshooting and electrical repairs under direction of Tech 2, 3, Master.
Repair, replace, and adjust malfunctioning equipment to restore proper operating condition specified in Clean Energy standard operating procedures and manufacturer repair manuals.
Mechanical:
Basic mechanical troubleshooting and electrical repairs under direction of Tech 2, 3, Master.
Repair, replace, and adjust malfunctioning equipment to restore proper operating condition specified in Clean Energy standard operating procedures and manufacturer repair manuals.
General:
Make scheduled inspections of CNG, LNG and/or LCNG fueling locations and equipment to determine proper and normal operating conditions in accordance with Clean Energy standard operating procedures.
Diagnose and correct faulty and malfunctioning mechanical and/or electrical components, devices and equipment related to CNG, LNG and/or LCNG.
Clean and maintain fueling locations.
Drive to or between company sites to perform job responsibilities.
Update and document all activity, service orders, work performed and recommendation in our D365 Clean Energy Field Service Automation (FSA) software. Must be proficient on a personal computer, laptop, and mobile devices.
Maintain all fueling related equipment and structures in accordance with manufactures requirements and Clean Energy standard operating procedures.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP & FUNCTIONAL ROLE
This position reports functionally to the Field Service Manager and administratively to the Production Manager. The Field Service Technician position has two levels each with slightly different requirements in education and/or experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB DUTIES
Responsibilities:
· Operating and inspecting assigned equipment including but not limited to forklifts, vehicles, tools, and/or cranes.
· Assist/perform evaluations, repairs, and/or new builds per the job traveler, procedures, drawings, and verbal instructions.
· Assist/perform the assembly process and testing of hydraulic power units, lube systems, and components as per customers request, procedures, drawings, and verbal instructions.
· Complete Field Service Paperwork; timesheets, JSA, Delivery Tickets, etc.
· Direct Contact with Customers, OSS, ISS, etc.
· Assist with maintenance inspections of field service equipment, while making necessary repairs.
Administrative/General:
· Assist in the development, review, and maintenance of processes, procedures, and guidelines.
· Assist in special projects as assigned by the Field Service Manager.

o The Senior Field Service Technician has 8+ years experienced and has specialized hydraulic training/ or other certified schooling.

Responsibilities
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Qualifications
2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred
