    Looking Glass is Hiring a Relief Counselor to join our Station 7 Team! As the Relief Counselor, you will assist with the coordination of service plans for each client, which includes the integration of support team members, key agencies and youth participants. You will assist with providing crisis intervention, maintaining a positive milieu, creating behavior management plans, and case coordination for youth and families who access services. Lived experience or professional experience with homeless and runaway youth is preferred, but not required. Those with a passion for helping people are encouraged to apply! This position works in an on-call capacity, $23.50/hour with an overnight differential for any overnight shifts covered! The Station 7 program is an emergency shelter for runaway or homeless youth in our community, ages 11-17. The program focuses on providing temporary crisis care for youth while helping them with life skills, goal-setting, and creating a stable plan to move forward toward a better future. Station 7 operates Project Safe Place which offers youth safe locations to go when they feel afraid or have run away from home. Station 7 operates a 24-hour crisis hotline for youth community members. People who thrive in this program have a passion for helping others, the ability to relate with clients while upholding strong professional boundaries, and maintaining program rules. Station 7 is a diverse, community focused program focusing on the care of the guests coming in. If you have any interest in community service roles, this position may be for you! This is an on-call/relief position; minimum shift requirements include at least 4 shifts per month and attending at least 1 staff meeting per month.
