The goal of Emulation team is to build core-only emulation models for E-core projects, execute random instruction tests on these models, debug failures and find CPU bugs. We collaborate closely with CPU design team and other validation team (both pre-silicon & post-silicon) for various aspects of core validation.
Who You Are
Your responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:
Builds emulation and FPGA models and solutions from RTL design using synthesis, partitioning, and routing tools.
Develops, integrates, tests, and debugs hardware and software collateral in simulation, emulation, and FPGA models for testing new features, writes directed tests, develops the test environment and hybrid emulation environment, and supports verification of hardware and software/firmware.
Defines and develops new capabilities and tools to achieve better verification through improved emulation and FPGA model usability.
Enables acceleration of RTL development and improve emulation/FPGA model usability for presilicon verification, postsilicon validation, and software development.
Develops improvements to usability by RTL validation and debugging of failing RTL tests on the emulation platform and interfaces with and provides guidance to verification teams for optimizing presilicon verification environments, test suites, and methodologies for emulation efficiency.
Develops and utilizes automation aids, flows, and scripts in support of emulation utilization.
Applies understanding of emulation and FPGA prototyping tools and methodologies, SoC integration, emulation transactors, emulation performance and optimization techniques, RTL simulation, and hybrid emulation environments (virtual platform and FPGA/emulation model).
Collaborates with design, power and performance, silicon validation, and software teams, and participates in SoC and IP bring up, root causes testbench issues, IP and SoC test cases, and emulator/FPGA environment issues.

Minimum Qualifications

Our team focuses on analyzing and optimizing AI workloads for both current and next-generation GPU hardware. We work closely with the OpenVINO framework, developing new features and graph-level optimizations to push performance toward theoretical hardware limits. In parallel, we collaborate in a pre-silicon environment with hardware architects and simulation teams to validate upcoming GPU designs and provide early performance insights. We are seeking a highly motivated AI Algorithm Engineer to join our team.
In this role, you will analyze and optimize AI model performance on Windows and Linux platforms, leverage GPU hardware to accelerate compute, and work cross-functionally with software and hardware architecture teams. Your work will directly influence GPU performance, software capabilities, and future product directions.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze, profile, and optimize AI models with a focus on GPU performance and efficiency using both pre- and post-silicon tools.
Develop and maintain components of the AI software stack in Python and C++.
Implement, tune, and optimize GPU kernels using parallel programming languages and frameworks.
Produce clear and comprehensive documentation for codebases, performance findings, and analysis workflows.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, mathematics, Physics, or any other related filed.
5+ years of experience in/With:
Programming skills in C++ and Python.
Hands-on experience with major AI frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenVINO) and understanding of mapping neural network architectures onto hardware-accelerated inference pipelines.
Practical, hands-on experience in performance analysis across AI hardware accelerators, GPUs, or heterogeneous computing architectures.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in kernel programming for GPUs or similar architectures (CUDA, OpenCL, threading, multiprocessing).
Expertise in pre-silicon GPU performance simulation, debugging performance bottlenecks, and analyzing architectural behavior.
Experience with version control systems such as Git and collaborative development workflows.

AI software framework group is responsible for development of all the AI Frameworks to enable Intel's AI HW roadmap. This group focus on developing AI software from kernel (such as matrix multiplication) to higher level frameworks (such as Inference engine). This group works closely with other Intel groups (such as lower-level stacks close to operating systems and higher-level stacks for cluster level scheduling) so that End to End software stack is developed for Intel hardware roadmap. This position, you will be responsible for prototyping, developing of GPU kernel, integrating to AI frameworks, and optimizing them for Intel hardware platforms.
Responsibilities include:
+ Develops complex code with C++ templates for optimal GPU kernels.
+ Understand PyTorch or Similar framework's usage of AI kernels and design the interfaces.
+ Interacts with partner teams to understand the requirements and convert to tangible action items for development.
+ Develop architectural documents for setting direction to larger team.

**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree and 4+ years or Master's degree and 3+ years' experience or Ph.D and 1+ years of experience in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Aerospace engineering, applied mathematics, mechanical engineering, or related technical disciplines.
+ 3+ years of experience in complex C++ template-based development such as meta level programming.
+ 2+ years' experience with GPU architecture.
+ 2+ years' experience SYCL / CUDA knowledge.

Distinguished Engineer - Accelerated Apache Spark NVIDIA is seeking a Distinguished Engineer for the Apache Spark Acceleration group. Over the past five years GPU accelerated data processing has moved from proof of concept to production deployments. Many enterprises are now recognizing the needs of accelerated computing for large scale data processing. Multi-node GPU deployments will reduce cloud computing costs and lower latency of large scale data processing.
At NVIDIA, we have been invested in accelerating Apache Spark, providing an open source plugin for Apache Spark. Apache Spark is the most popular data processing engine in data centers. We strive to accelerate Spark applications on GPUs without any code changes. Our OSS RAPIDS Spark library is integrated with on-premise and cloud services such as AWS EMR, Databricks, Google Dataproc, Oracle Cloud Data Flow, Bytedance Volcengine, Tencent Cloud and Cloudera.
You will serve as a hands-on architect of Nvidia Spark Acceleration Group. You will work with a team of distributed system engineers including PMC and Committers of Apache Spark, Apache Hadoop, Apache Hive, and Apache Arrow. You will engage in open source projects such as Apache Spark, RAPIDS, Apache Iceberg, Delta Lake, UCX and more.
What you'll be doing:
* Lead the architecture, design and implementation of accelerated Apache Spark and related big-data frameworks
* Engage open source communities (including Apache Spark, RAPIDS, Apache Iceberg, Delta Lake and UCX) for technical discussion and contribution, and engage new communities where we may not have a strong presence yet
* Work with NVIDIA partners to deploy GPU enabled data analytics solutions in public cloud or on-premises clusters

* Collaborate with distributed systems teams to define solutions to distributed processing problems challenges at large scale
* Provide recommendations and feedback to teams regarding decisions surrounding topics such as infrastructure, continuous integration and testing strategy

What we need to see:
