Full Time Inpatient rounding and outpatient clinic for general cardiology The APRN II is a nurse prepared with graduate level nursing education and authorized to practice and prescribe as a Clinical Nurse Specialist or Certified Nurse Practitioner in collaboration with one or more physicians or podiatrists. Collaborate with the electrophysiology physician to design protocols for left atrial appendage (LAA) management strategies including referrals, follow-up, and patient counseling. Inpatient Support (Secondary Role) Round on inpatients with AFib, post-ablation, and other arrhythmia-related conditions as needed. Assist in the transition of care from inpatient to outpatient AFib clinic, ensuring continuity and adherence to care plans. Device Management (Adjunct Role) Support evaluation and follow-up of patients with implanted cardiac devices (e.g., pacemakers, ICDs, loop recorders) as related to AFib detection and burden monitoring. Assist in interpreting device data to inform AFib management strategies. Care Coordination & Quality Improvement Foster collaboration between cardiology, primary care, pharmacy, and allied health teams to optimize patient outcomes. We are seeking an APP for Tanner Health's General Cardiology service based in the Clinic with a Congestive Heart failure focus. The APP will join a multi-provider team of physicians and other APP's who report to the Executive Director at Tanner Heart and Vascular Specialist. Additionally, this position will provide 1 weekend of inpatient service every 4th week. There will be two days off during the week the inpatient service is provided. Tanner Heart and Vascular Specialist is part of Tanner Medical Group which consist of 42 individual practices and has approximately 270 total providers. This APP will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide services for patients with cardiac issues in the clinic focusing on Congestive Heart Failure while having your own general cardiology patients and clearing surgical consults. He/she will collaborate with other providers while conducting physical exams, diagnose and treat acute and chronic issues, order and interpret diagnostic test including lab work and imaging studies, provide education and counseling to patients while maintaining medical records via EPIC EMR. In this role you will\: · Perform first OR assist duties · Assists in office procedures · Rounding on patients in the hospital · Assist in management of post-operative and critically ill patients in the hospital · Evaluate post-operative patients in the office setting · Applies specialized skills and knowledge related to the care of patients in the CVOR, ICU, CCU and CVICU areas · Contributes to excellence in patient care, research, teaching, consulting and provides leadership to the organization

Requirements Masters, Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification --or-- Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting for an Advanced Practice Provider to join the ENT / Head and Neck Surgery surgical service line team working at our Piedmont Newnan campus. This is a 7 AM - 4 PM, 5 days per week, position with few call responsibilities.
