This position is responsible for assisting the Allied Health Program Support Specialist with administrative duties to support the Allied Health Programs in the Health Sciences Division. The pay rate is $19.16 per hour. This position is temporary part-time, not to exceed 28 hours per week, maximum 9-month assignment.
Minimum Qualifications
* Completed high school diploma, OR GED.
* Two years of relevant work experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position OR a combination of related education plus relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned totaling two years.

Enrollment Services is seeking a Part-Time Bilingual Admissions Counselor, Temporary Hourly to provide admissions counseling and enrollment services to prospective, new, and current students at Pikes Peak State College who prefer support in Spanish. This role manages a caseload of newly admitted students, guiding them through the enrollment process and supporting the college's goal of remaining an official Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI). Responsibilities

Early Childhood Education (ECE) Skills Instructor (aka Skills Guide) in conjunction with ECE faculty provide ECE pre-service teacher students enrolled in a certificate or degree plan of study with advisement, coaching and assessment of teaching skill to students working with young children in a hands-on experience in an Early Childhood (EC) classroom setting.
They report to the department chair within the discipline and do not have any supervisory responsibilities. Responsibilities include instruction, student assessment, and other related instructional duties. Instructional delivery may include face-to-face, hybrid, and online. Classes may be held days, evenings, and weekends.
The ECE Skills Instructor must be patient and respectful, while also providing their expectations for what is considered acceptable work. The instructor must display dedication to the class as well as the goals of the program. This position reports to the department chair within the discipline and does not supervise other employees. About the Department
The Speech, Language, Hearing Sciences department prioritizes values that reflect those of the university at large including a shared commitment to community, accessibility, diversity, respect and excellence (cadre). We are a collaborative team that includes four full-time faculty, three full-time clinical educators, and a talented group of professional staff and part-time affiliates. We offer both an undergraduate degree in speech, language, hearing sciences and a graduate degree in speech-language pathology, with an optional concentration in bilingual (Spanish-English) service provision. The Bookhardt Family Speech-Language Clinic is a no-cost, on-campus clinic that supports the greater Denver-metro community.
Our department strives to improve how knowledge is translated from the classroom to the clinic by breaking down traditional educational silos. We encourage students to join faculty in clinical research and advocacy efforts. These collaborative projects have received external funding and been shared with national audiences. With the newly launched simulation and skills lab and the opening of the Gina and Frank Day Health Institute Tower in Fall 2027, there are significant opportunities for interprofessional partnerships and community-serving programs.
Position Summary
The Department of Speech, Language, Hearing Sciences (SLHS) and the Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology (MS-SLP) program of MSU Denver seeks speech-language pathologists (SLPs) to be part-time clinical educators. This is an hourly position with no benefits with varying hours per week, on an as-needed basis (PRN). Applicants must be able to work in-person, on campus in Denver, Colorado.
The Department is particularly interested in applicants who have experience working with clients across the lifespan and from diverse backgrounds, along with a demonstrated commitment to improving access to higher education for under-represented groups. Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
Applicants will provide as-needed supervision of graduate student clinicians in the MSU Denver Speech Language Clinic and/or community-based sites as they provide speech-language and cognitive-communication interventions for clients across the lifespan. Clinical Educators will review lesson plans and clinical documentation and provide timely feedback to graduate student clinicians. Clinical Educators must be committed to graduate clinical education and current professional practices and demonstrate ability to quickly learn and use several different technology platforms including Canvas, ClinicNote, VALT and Calipso.
Required Qualifications
* Master's degree in speech-language pathology
* Certification from American Speech, Language, Hearing Association (ASHA)
* Have completed a minimum of nine months of practice experience post-certification and meet ASHA's 2020 Standards for supervision, including the self-attestation on the ASHA website
Preferred Qualifications
* At least two years of experience mentoring graduate students and/or novice speech language pathologists
* Experience working with and sensitivity to the needs of a diverse urban student population including (but not limited to) students of color, LBGTQIA students, students from low-income backgrounds, first-generation students, students with disabilities, undocumented students, non-traditional students, student veterans, and English-language learners.

This is a student-facing position. While virtual supervision may be possible at times, applicants must be able to work in-person, on campus in Denver, Colorado for the majority of student meetings and supervision.

The Lead Tutor position focuses on providing leadership and learner-centered support in the PPSC Tutoring Centers in order to improve students' confidence and success. Under the direction of the Coordinator of Tutoring Services the Lead Tutor guides students in developing independent learning skills while maintaining effective communication with the Coordinator of Tutoring Services and any Tutor 1s or Tutor 2s assigned to the Lead Tutor. The Adjunct Instructor for Psychology is responsible for teaching part-time within the program. The successful Adjunct Instructor for Psychology must possess the academic and practical expertise to guide student learning and success, and to serve as a mentor and model for students. This position will demonstrate strong instructional skills and engage a diverse student body using traditional, nontraditional, and innovative methods of instruction and effectively structure classes and curriculum to support program and course outcomes.

PRIMARY DUTIES
The Psychology Adjunct instructor will deliver instruction consistent with the content and learning objectives of the course syllabus; maintain grade and attendance records; recognize and respond appropriately to student diversity; utilize clear learning goals and well-planned activities; being available, either face to face or electronically to students in assigned classes to provide additional academic support as needed and appropriate for the teaching assignment. Primary teaching duties will be within the PSY (PSY) discipline. Adjunct instructors are hired to teach classes on an as-needed, usually semester-by-semester basis. All such teaching assignments are dependent on schedule and enrollment. Beyond teaching, adjunct instructors are active participants in the department with opportunities to engage in professional development, department projects, and program assessment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: The successful Psychology adjunct instructor must have a Master's degree (or higher) in Psychology or related Master's degree and at least 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline to be taught.
Preferred Experience: Two (2) years of experience teaching Psychology in a community college, college or university setting.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
* Experience teaching in multi-cultural settings.
* Collaborative teaching experience.
* Demonstrated skills working with a team.
* Curriculum and program development experience is helpful.
* Knowledge of, and experience with program assessment.
* Experience teaching on-line courses.
* Applied job and/or research experience is helpful.
* Experience with the use of student Learning Management Systems (D2L), instructional technology, and Microsoft Office programs.

The Science, Engineering, and Math Department is seeking part-time lab assistants for the Zoo Keeping Technology and Veterinary Assistant labs. Positions will assist in the care and husbandry of the animal collection on site. This is a temporary part-time hourly position, not to exceed 28 hours per week.
Ability to work evenings and weekends to support animal and department needs.
Minimum Qualifications
* Completed High School Diploma or completed GED.
* Two semesters of Zookeeping Technology, in addition to biology or environmental science with passing grade(s).
* Basic record keeping skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* Additional degree from a regionally accredited institution.
* Additional years of experience in a zoological lab or conservation initiatives.
Essential Functions
Lab Operations & Support
* Cleaning, scrubbing/disinfecting enclosures and dishes.
* Diet preparation and feeding.
* Additional duties pertaining to the role as assigned.
Administrative & Technical Duties
* Assist in data collection and entry.
* Organize and maintain lab documentation including class requisitions, inventory logs, and cleaning duty lists.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements: Work is often performed in a variety of settings, frequently in a lab or controlled environment, caring for animals. Work hours vary with the needs of the animal collection, animals, and programs.
Requires occasional physical effort such as lifting, handling enclosures, working with reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates, and other various taxa along with extensive walking/standing.
Evening or weekend work may be required.

* Working knowledge of animal care and husbandry practices.
* Working knowledge of materials, methods, and equipment used in cleaning and caring for animals.

* Ability to interface professionally with coworkers.
* Ability to cope with the physical demands of the profession (i.e. must be able to lift 50 pounds, stand for prolonged periods of time, etc.).
