Compensation Data
The pay range for this position is $64,479 - $105,272 in Annual Salary. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. This position is responsible for planning work to obtain and administer Federal entitlement funds allocated to DuPage County through programs including, but not limited to, the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, the HOME Investment Partnership (HOME) Program, and the Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) Program.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Manages and distributes federal entitlement funds given to DuPage County through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, the HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), the Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) Program, including other federal funds that may be allocated from time to time
* Compiles, analyzes and interprets data used in the preparation of required comprehensive planning documents, including, but not limited to, the 5-year Consolidated Plan, Annual Action Plan, and Comprehensive Annual Performance Evaluation Report (CAPER)
* Manages multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
* Evaluates assigned projects for compliance with environmental, labor, equal opportunity, acquisition/relocation laws, housing quality standards, and income qualification
* Monitors overall project performance for compliance with all applicable federal, state and local code, policy, contracts, laws and regulations
* Monitors HOME Program projects for compliance during the HUD-required affordability period
* Interprets and enforces Federal laws and regulations as they pertain to project completion
* Provides technical assistance on all phases of the federal and local programs and county policies
* Analyzes project feasibility and cash flow analysis for housing projects
* Compiles, analyzes and interprets data used in preparing the 5-year Consolidated Plan, Annual Action Plan, and Comprehensive Annual Performance Evaluation Report (CAPER)
* Prepares Environmental Review Records
* Implements projects in compliance with Davis-Bacon requirements
* Completes projects following Uniform Administrative and Cost Principles requirements
* Reviews and approves sub grantee payment claims for completeness of documentation
* Reports periodically on project status to superiors
* Prepares and presents information on programs to employer, community groups, municipalities, and contractors.
* Coordinates the needs and input of municipalities and other community stakeholders within countywide plans and programs and participates in citizen engagement exercises as needed to obtain data on community needs
* Conducts citizen engagement surveys and exercise to obtain appropriate data for estimates and projections for community needs
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Public or Business Administration, Planning or related field, with an emphasis on housing and community development; and two years of experience in community development, planning, grant administration, project management, or construction escrow administration or related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must possess and maintain in good standing, a valid Illinois driver's license.
The preferred candidate will have:
* Working knowledge of CDBG, HOME and ESG regulations
* Familiarity with federal procurement requirements and documentation required for federally funded construction projects

About the Role
Your objective in the financial planning career track, starting either as a Financial Planning Analyst (working on the CFP certification) or as an Associate Financial Planner (already obtained the CFP certification), is to learn how to become a lead relationship manager. You will work alongside our Senior Financial Planners to learn how we deliver a best-in-class experience for our clients. Your first few months will be spent learning the TPC way from the ground up. This process will include engagement in 1-on-1 meetings with colleagues to learn systems and processes and group meetings to learn about TPC culture and company-wide initiatives, involvement in operations procedures such as processing contributions and distributions, and participation in client meetings to learn firsthand how we serve our clients and their families.

What You Will Be Doing
Support the Senior Financial Planner (lead relationship manager) in meetings.
Your role will initially be as listener and notetaker, with the goal of preparing you to eventually lead meetings and take on the full responsibilities of a Financial Planner.
Prepare client financial plans.
Prepare for, take notes, help run, and do follow-up for existing client review meetings.
Supervise and review data entry and completion of necessary tasks/business processes within our customer relationship management software and all other TPC tools.
Become an expert user of our core tools:
Customer relationship management software

Cash management software
Financial planning software
Assist with investment analysis, recommendations, and implementation.
Host initial calls with prospective clients.
Collaborate with Operations Department to assist in client workflow, such as account opening, transfers, contributions, and distributions.
Within one to two years, be able to co-lead client meetings with the Senior Financial Planner, and upon attaining your CFP certification, be ready to assume sole responsibility of 10-20 existing client relationships.
Begin participating in TPC committees and workgroups as appropriate and needed.

**_Job Summary_**
The **Meeting & Event Planner, Attendee Recruitment & Engagement** will work closely with Meeting Managers, Pharmaceutical clients and Healthcare Professional partners, assisting in the successful execution of both promotional and consulting activities, and is particularly responsible for working with our database and project managers to create invitation lists and manage outreach to our applicable audience for each event as well as maintaining tracking spreadsheets and providing status reports. This position will serve as the attendee recruitment lead for Meetings and Events.
**_Responsibilities_**
+ Create attendee recruiting strategy for assigned projects
+ Manages recruiting efforts per guidelines identified by the project manager and client.
+ Work with senior team members to generate applicable invitation lists for each event.
+ Adherence to compliance regulations, i.e. debarment rules, repeat rules, etc.
