This area of the lab is the heart of each section - every sample comes through here to be triaged, and the role of these lab assistants is to ensure that the best sample is delivered and processed for testing. Customer service and the ability to multitask are critical skills for this area. We currently have the following position(s) available:
* Full-time, 40-hours/week evening-shift positions
Weekends and holidays are shared on a rotation basis with the team, and coverage is expected approximately every 6 weeks, including holidays on rotation. There is a 15% shift differential for working the weekend. Please indicate your desired shifts on your application.
DHMC and Clinics are offering a $5,000 sign-on/retention bonus for this position. *External applicants only and certain conditions apply.
Candidates for this position need to have obtained their HS Diploma or GED, with some college coursework and previous laboratory experience preferred. Lab Aide
* Assists Medical Technologists as necessary.
