3rd Shift Production Supervisor (Rotating shift)
Education:
* A high school diploma or equivalent. Additional vocational training/certification preferred.
* Equivalent background with a minimum of two years casting operations experience.
Work Experience:
* Prefer one to three years of industrial supervisory or similar leadership experience.
* Minimum of 1 year experience as an operator in a manufacturing environment.

Job Description
Position Summary:
The Production Supervisor will be responsible for the safe manufacture of company products which may represent a broad diversity of manufacturing processes. Responsible for satisfying all quality and productivity requirements in the most cost effective manner by supervising multiple functions and shifts of the production team. This must be achieved while following and enforcing all safety, quality, 6s and process requirements. The supervisor will be directly involved with hiring, training, discipline, and performance reviews for the production employees.
Essential Functions:
* Responsible to safely manufacture a quality product while meeting customer specifications and delivery commitments
* Practice and follow 6s principles daily and maintain the highest level of housekeeping excellence in the department
* Ensure all safety requirements including the Cardinal Rules of Safety are followed at all times by every employee
* Ensure that standard operating procedures and engineering procedures are current, accurate and followed at all times
* Schedule employees to meet production needs and to ensure vacation/time off are consistent with plant policies
* Provide supervision and coaching to department employees to meet or exceed daily product metrics and goals
* Ensure adherence to process control procedures, operating instructions, and all quality control instructions
* Manage operational metrics including TOC, variable cost, and LU targets daily, weekly, and monthly
* Communicate to employees on a daily basis on production needs and general plant communications
* Control quality, delivery, cost of production, work in process levels, and monitor production thru-put
* Provide input on the design and installation of equipment for new manufacturing processes
* Work with employees to resolve technical and personnel problems in a positive manner

Position Summary - At PCC Mentor we pride ourselves on Operations Excellence. The NDT Radiography Level III is a key role that is responsible for ensuring our X-Ray processes and techniques meet the quality requirements and specifications of our customer. With a strong understanding of NDT principles, techniques, and governing requirements, the NDT Radiography Level III will create X-Ray techniques based on customer specifications, ensure the highest level of quality of our parts, and train, develop and mentor X-Ray Level I and II team members.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
* Assumes technical responsibilities for Radiography at the facility.
* Correctly interprets codes, standards, requirements, and other contractual documents that control the NDT methods for the PCC Mentor facility.
* Develops and selects the appropriate method and technique for inspection operations.
* Prepares, reviews, and verifies the technical accuracy of Radiography procedures and work instructions.
* Trains, mentors, and develops X-Ray Level I and II team members by preparing the team members for the examination and certification process.
* Performs audits with outside agencies to ensure the requirements of the written practices are met.
* Support operations as requested.
Experience and Education
* Minimum of four years of experience performing NDT Radiography work in a manufacturing environment. Previous casting industry experience preferred.
* NAS 410 or equivalent NDT Radiography Level II certification is required. Level III certification is highly preferred.
* Experience in certification audits such as Nadcap, AS9100 or equivalent.
* A high school diploma.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Maintaining and operating vacuum casting furnace as required to produce quality castings.
* Must perform all routine furnace maintenance functions.
* Meet the specific requirements of the efficiency standards as established.
* Record all work performed and all necessary information on logs as prescribed on Standard Operating Procedure Requirements (SOP).
* Performs support functions in the casting department. * Assemble wax pattern clusters per procedures (PEI/SOP).
* Inspect components before and after assembly for casting defect contributors. Visually check for broken corners, lugs, and missing pins and correct serial number.
* Determine the acceptability to specifications.
* Return acceptable and unacceptable patterns back to the appropriate stations or operators.
* Properly identify your work performed on clusters in Lot Control and affix acquired identification to molds.
