Knowledge of IT infrastructure & software component relationships, trends and best practices, on premise and SaaS solutions
Solid skills with computers, operating systems and software (MS Office Suite, MS Project and other IT applications) and ability to learn new technical concepts quickly
Excellent analytical abilities, including process analysis and development, problem solving and root cause analysis

The Role:
The IT Analyst is responsible for identifying, defining and documenting business requirements and functional specifications for various IT projects and initiatives by collaborating with service providers, business partners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment of expectations, deliverables, and timelines. Working with Service Partners the IT Analyst will become a knowledgeable of the assigned applications, collaborating with Service Partners to ensure resolution of operational service-based issues, reviewing analyzing and reporting progress on service incidents and requests. Solution Assessment & Validation: Engages with key stakeholders to influence the solution design to meet business goals, scope and strategy requirements. Provides input into the identification and delivery of project benefits, traceability of requirements and impact of solutions.
Delivery and Deployment - consulting role, providing clarification services regarding the project Vision, Scope and Requirements, plus assessing and managing Change Requests through the standard process. Assists testing teams craft suitable test scripts.
Use templates, tools and (internal) processes consistently, helping evolve all as required.
Participates in vendor reviews, discussion of products, contribute in the writing of RFI's and RFP's. Reviews proposed designs and solutions for usability and to assure requirements are satisfied

Plan and execute attack simulations and phishing tests to assess security readiness and improve response strategies.
Utilize SIEM, MDR, and endpoint protection tools (e.g., Huntress, ThreatLocker) to enhance threat detection and response.
Develop, maintain, and execute incident response and disaster recovery procedures as needed.
Prepare periodic security summaries, metrics, and reports with findings and recommendations.
Identify opportunities to automate manual monitoring, alerting, or reporting tasks.
Partner with IT and business teams on projects that impact system and data security.
Support IT General Controls for enterprise systems and respond to internal and external audit inquiries.
Assist with annual reviews of IT controls, narratives, and process documentation.
Support PCI-DSS annual assessments with external assessors and maintain compliance documentation.
Participate in annual penetration testing activities and track remediation of findings.
Perform additional duties as assigned based on organizational needs.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
4-6 years of experience in information security, infrastructure, or related technology roles.
Hands-on experience supporting security operations, controls, or compliance initiatives.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CySA+, CEH, or CISM preferred.
Strong understanding of network and cloud security risks and controls.
Working knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.

This position would be based in our Atlanta office, and you would work directly with the attorneys in that office. This CPA would be a direct member of the Corporate and Transactional Group and work alongside its attorneys. The person who previously held this position moved to another industry.
This CPA analyst would also assist in estate and gift planning analysis to work in conjunction with the other CPA analysts who work at the firm. These services would include review of gift tax returns and some assistance in reviewing and drafting wills, trusts and other estate planning documents.
Qualifications
Active CPA license required
5-10 years of experience in public accounting, corporate finance, and transactional tax
Solid understanding of financial statements and financial accounting principles
Comprehensive knowledge of corporate tax (primarily S corporations) and partnership tax concepts
Excellent analytical and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
