Under direction of the EDDNext Unit Manager, the EDDNext Support Analyst performs as a core member of the EDDNext team by participating in and completing a broad range of complex analytical tasks relating to all phases of the EDDNext project's planning, design, development, testing, training, and implementation.
EDDNext project tasks will pertain to one of five work streams: Shared Online Claimant Portal, Forms Redesign, Integrated Contact Center Phone Support, Training and Knowledge Management, or Fraud Detection, Analytics and Reporting.
This position is headquartered in the Central Office in Sacramento. Will consider candidates who are located throughout the State of California. This position allows for a hybrid telework schedule, which is subject to change, under EDD's telework policy. The Business Intelligence & Analytics function within Datavant Product is actively seeking a detail-oriented and impact-driven data analyst to strengthen our Corporate Cross-Functional Reporting team. This pillar focuses on building a scalable, trusted reporting platform that delivers consistent, transparent, and actionable insights across our finance, accounting, compliance, and people functions. In this role you will help mature our analytics portfolio, drive BI modernization, and enable operational visibility through data. **You Will:**
+ Partner & Analyze
+ Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs, scope requirements, and define analytical approaches that inform decision-making.
+ Conduct exploratory and targeted analyses using analytical methods and business context to generate actionable recommendations.
+ Design and develop business intelligence solutions, including dashboards, reports, and tools that support operational visibility and strategic insights.
+ Deliver Scalable BI Solutions
+ Lead the development and maintenance of reusable data models and visualizations, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and performance across internal and external reporting at Datavant.
+ Collaborate with data engineering and BI teams to ensure data quality, accessibility, and alignment between source systems and reporting layers.
+ Enable Continuous Improvement
+ Contribute to the automation of recurring analytical workflows, reducing manual reporting and improving turnaround time for business users.
+ Drive the growth of team practices and analytical maturity by mentoring peers, documenting solutions, and leading process improvements.
+ Stay current on industry best practices in data visualization, BI tools, and analytics methods to continuously elevate team capabilities.

+ Technical Skills

Complete and submit formal bids by required date
Cross reference competitor part numbers and unit of measures to exact or equivalent products
Update cross reference database as needed
Strategically provide pricing on quotes and bids
Request deviated cost and/or rebated pricing from vendors
Report on results from quotes and bids submitted
Request bid tabs or recaps of bids or quotes submitted
Create, maintain and renew contract pricing

Who Are You?
Associate degree; Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred.
Two to six years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience within the distribution industry a plus.
Ability to structure, develop, write and edit proposal sections, building the response around client requirements in a creative, compelling and compliant manner.
Ability to work on multiple proposals and contracts, while balancing milestones and due dates for each project.
