Scope of Practice Highlights

Requirements
Urgent Care Experience: Preferred, with a strong background in fast-paced clinical environments.
Pediatric Assessment & Treatment: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Family Physician or Pediatrician, with a focus on pediatric care.
Urgent Care Procedures: Proficiency in laceration repair, initial fracture management, and reduction of nursemaid's elbow.
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with OSHA and CLIA guidelines, confidentiality, and office systems.
Licensing: Current, valid, and unencumbered medical license from the Texas Medical Board.
Certifications: PALS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
