**Location:** Lancaster General Hospital, Suburban Outpatient Pavilion, and possible other various locations in Lancaster, PA
**Schedule:** Full time (40 hours per week), Monday through Friday, hours between 6:00am-2:00pm, up to 6 pre-scheduled weekends, 1 holiday, and up to 6 on-call shifts per year.
**Essential Functions:**
+ Used to flex up staffing at Lancaster General's Support Desk.
+ Offers Tier 1 and Tier 2 level customer support.
+ Works off a ticket queue to assist customer in finding root cause - sometimes interfacing directly with the customer and technical teams.
+ Performs hardware support for users, including developing specifications to user's requirements and organizational standards and installation to the network for approved hardware products.
+ Performs technical diagnostics for approved hardware products to determine means of repair.
+ Performs software support for users.
+ Performs preventive maintenance on a regular schedule to assure all devices are functional and performing to specifications.
+ Performs problem determination for approved software products to determine the means of intervention.
+ Train users on proper operating procedures.
+ Recognize trends and escalate them to leadership.
+ Provides high quality customer service through courteous, prompt and accurate communication.
+ Stays current with supporting documentation by regularly reviewing knowledge base and supporting documentation.
+ Provides input and feedback on technical documentation for knowledge base and supporting documentation.
+ Works on projects and other duties as assigned by the Customer Service Desk Manager/Supervisor.
+ Keeps current on all technologies within the supported environment.
+ Participates in other IT service groups and committees.
**Qualifications:**
+ HS Diploma or GED
+ Experience in customer service-related position
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Associate's degree in computer science or electronics
+ Microsoft Engineer Certification
+ 3 years personal computer hardware/software experience

Summary:
+ Accountable for tracking of all FDA regulated infusion devices (pumps), as well as non-FDA regulated equipment, used in the provision of home infusion therapy.
Responsibilities:
+ Ensures accurate record keeping of DME equipment for clinical and reimbursement purpose. Registers pumps to patients when required, per a generated ancillary supply list, to establish a patient specific account within CPR+ Equip manager. Maintains all records, and a schedule of serial biomedical inspection and preventive maintenance, on all infusion devices used. In addition to infusion devices, peripheral equipment used in conjunction with these infusion devices and refrigerators dispensed by Penn Home Infusion Therapy are tracked for inventory accounting purposes.Coordinates DME exchanges from patients and ensures that appropriate quality maintenance is performed on pump. Responsible for the maintenance of the infusion pumps including, but not limited to: rate versus volume check, keypad functions test and time accuracy test.

Pharmacy-Inpatient
+ The Pharmacy Automation Technician will work in collaboration with the Pharmacy Operations Coordinator for Narcotics and Peri-Op Pharmacy and other department leaders as assigned to provide specialized technical support for the department and the hospital in regard to the Automated Dispensing Systems. The Pharmacy Automation Technician will assist with entering end user profiles, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting with the adjustment of par levels and other inventory changes, such as reviewing annual inventory in cabinets, drug shortages, adjustments to inventory based on area need and practice, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, and initiate service calls and follow ups. This technician will assist with routine surveillance, clinic/pharmacy audits, investigation, and report analysis, interpretation and presentation on various reports (i.e. Discrepancy reports / Exception / Expirations/Override reports) in preparation for various hospital and department meetings along with needs related to routine surveillance of medication use and diversion monitoring. Additionally, this individual will assist with implementations of new equipment and software upgrades, and serve as a super user and resource for hospital and department staff both in end user training and questions. The individual will also provide cross functional support duties of the Inpatient Technician dependent upon operational need.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Serves as a super user and will assist with the training and education of automated dispensing systems for pharmacy and hospital staff. Involved in the implementation of automated dispensing cabinets including but not limited to: set up, inventory assignments, coordination and communication with vendor and Health System IT support.Maintain the functional and operational integrity of the Automated Dispensing Systems including but not limited to: entering end user profiles, equipment troubleshooting, service calls/follow-up, inventory maintenance, general audits and cycle counts, and upgrades.Assist in routine and daily monitoring of reports, analysis, interpretation, collating data in preparation of various meetings and reviews with pharmacy leadership and other disciplines. Anesthesiology
+ Provides assistance to the Anesthesia Care Team in the surgical suites so they may execute patient care in a more expedient manner by maintaining equipment and supplies and restocking stands, as well as participating in the critical phases of anesthesia care.

Summary:
+ The role of the Materials Facilitator Technical Operations Partner III (also known as the Core Facilitator) include, but not limited to the following three areas: 1) Patient Care: Effectively manage the Core inventory of instruments and supplies that is critical for the 25,000 OR cases, 8,000 Cathlab procedures, 21,000 EP procedures, 2,000 IR neuro procedures and 20,000 Endoscopy / Pulmonary procedures that are performed annually at HUP East, HUP West, Perelman Surgicenter and Endoscopy to proceed without interrupting the safety of patient care. This is accomplished by having a working knowledge of Instrument tracking software and Excel spreadsheets. Tasks include performing daily physical inventory of instruments in the OR cores, submitting requests for instruments sets below par, scanning those instruments back onto the shelves, replacing pars of non-used sets back on the shelves after procedures, and consistently making sure core pars are adequate for use in emergencies, and communicating issues with the appropriate clinical leadership.2) Regulatory: Physically inspecting inventory to remove damaged items and disqualified sets from inventory. Review Pars on a daily basis to either add to the core items or send back to ISC. 3) Supporting other PeriOp Teams and UPHS Corporate Offices: Communicates with corporate Intervention Support Center (ISC) for any needs for more pars or instruments for immediate or next day cases. These communications are vital to prevent further delays in receiving shipment of instruments that may result in the cancellation of procedures or absence of instruments that could become a patient safety issue. The Technical Operations III also facilities service calls from nursing, physicians, and other periop support staff for issues related to ISC and instrumentation for OR cases. Requires consistent communication with IP supervisor at HUP and ISC. Also, consistent communication with nursing leadership both at entity and ISC is essential.
Responsibilities:

Summary:
+ Pennsylvania Hospital is currently seeking a Telemetry Tech. Responsible for monitoring and interpreting rhythms per unit standard and notifying appropriate health care personnel of changes in rate or rhythm.
+ Some Clinical Duties include:

A Brief Overview
The Monitor Technician is responsible for continuous observation of cardiac rhythms in the Central Monitoring Room. The Monitor Technician interprets cardiac rhythms and distinguishes between normal and abnormal rhythms. The Monitor Technician reports cardiac rhythm information in an accurate, timely manner to nursing staff.
What you will do
+ Admits patient into system and enters all applicable patient information into the system.
+ Verifies that the patient is on the correct telemetry transmitter upon admission and every shift. Completes the verification with the appropriate RN.
+ Completes all necessary paperwork and files appropriately.
+ Obtains report information to include history of cardiac rhythm, code status, anything that affects cardiac rhythms, and applicable medications or therapies.
+ Analyzes and documents each patient's rhythm strips upon admission, and at least every 8 hours. Notifies patient's nurse of rhythm.
+ Demonstrates accuracy with cardiac rhythm analysis.
+ Requests assistance as needed from the RN for rhythm analysis.
+ Recognizes conditions that mimic dysrhythmias and alter clarity of rhythm analysis, such as artifact, 60 cycle interference, wandering baseline, loose electrode, etc.
+ Maintains vigilance at all times, gives 100% of attention to the cardiac monitors.
+ Recognizes situations that require Rapid Response or Code Blue, takes appropriate action.
+ Disinfects telemetry transmitters after each patient use.
+ Performs appropriate transfers, and discharges from the monitoring system.
+ Dusts monitoring equipment and keeps it clean.
+ Maintains the Telemetry Monitoring System, effectively troubleshoots within job scope.
+ Adapts and becomes proficient in additional uses of remote monitoring
+ Documents lead, regularity, atrial rate, P wave integrity, PRI & QRS interval measurement, final interpretation of cardiac rhythm, and action or response required.
+ Completes this documentation for every patient at least every 8 hours.
+ Documents rhythm strip analysis immediately pre-code, intra-code/resuscitation and immediately post code.
+ Notifies appropriate nursing staff of rhythm or patient condition changes upon its discovery.
+ Notifies appropriate nursing staff of lethal or malignant rhythms immediately.
+ Maintains regular communication with the RN.
+ Notifies nursing assistant or other nursing personnel of leads off situation.
+ Maintains communication with patient care areas regarding quality of telemetry transmissions, patient activity, transport, admission, discharge, transfer, to ensure continuous and accurate monitoring of patients' cardiac rhythm.
+ Communicates patient and unit information to the RN and interdisciplinary care team in a timely manner.
+ Seeks help from RN when needed.
+ Never leaves the Monitoring Room unattended. Arranges meal or break times with designated RN or other qualified personnel to assure adequate coverage when needed.
+ Accepts assignments and performs as a team member.
+ Introduces self to patient and explains procedures to patient and family.
+ Maintains equipment in working order. Uses equipment appropriately, follows Department policies for equipment and supply use, cleaning and maintenance.

Summary:
A Tech V in the remote device clinic remotely monitors patients with cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIEDs) and integrates a knowledge base from physiology, pathophysiology, and cardiac device function to perform competent evaluations, diagnostic review, and overall analysis through remote monitoring. Uses clinical judgment to prioritize device alerts and abnormal transmissions per established policies and protocols and notifies physician or non-physician practitioners of urgent issues requiring further attention. This role is 100% remote.
Responsibilities:
+ Reviews remote monitoring software daily for transmission data and alerts.
+ Identifies ALERTS that require immediate attention and notifies clinical staff.
+ Performs remote device interrogation and/or follow up.
+ Documents appropriately in electronic health record regarding patient remotes.
+ Enters findings and appropriate communication contact per Clinic Management protocol.
