About the role We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our team. The Production Coordinator will play a critical role in managing the daily operations of production across multiple products, ensuring smooth coordination across departments and timely completion of tasks. About the work Planning and Coordination: Plan and coordinate engineering change notices for seamless implementation into production. Coordinate and communicate between various departments (planning, inventory, quality, manufacturing engineering) to ensure smooth ongoing production flow. Track daily production progress and escalate support requests to ensure schedules are maintained. Resource Management: Plan and support resource allocation and tracking (e.g., people, equipment, materials) to ensure availability and on-time delivery. Support new production personnel onboarding, training, integration into production teams, ongoing cross-training and development. Documentation and Record Keeping: Collect and maintain accurate production data and records as needed. Prepare and distribute production reports. Communication: Ensure clear and timely communication across teams to report status, or issues. Relay updates and changes to all relevant personnel. Problem-Solving: Collaborate and assist other teams as needed to support effective manufacturing. Proactively identify and solve problems potentially affecting production efficiency and/or objectives. About you: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with production tools and software (e.g., ERP, MES, Google docs/sheets). Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks daily. Remove weights and stems. Sort tires and prepare rims for shipment. * Janitor: Collect and harvest core dismantled core materials. Remove debris. Identify & address safety risks in the customer area.
