Roles & Responsibilities: · Operates forklift equipment (gas or electric) to load/unload, pick, replenish, stack, move and store product. · Follows and adheres to all shipping/receiving · Efficiently and accurately locate and place products in the appropriate locations and/or storage area · Operates equipment in a safe and efficient manner. · Maintains a clean, neat and orderly work area · Pull orders accurately as assigned · Stage orders according to carrier location and verify: number of pallets picked as well as stage location · Prepare receiving, storage and shipping documentation retaining product accountability throughout the logistical process · Be aware of and follow location and work centre Safety policies and procedures · Performs housekeeping duties and other duties as assigned · May operate fork-lift equipment or other warehouse machinery · Sub-assembles auto parts using hand tools · Operates production line equipment · Meets quality standards and maintains quotas · Performs quality checks during and after assembly · Moves product from one area to another using hand carts and dollies · Resets alarms and make minor machine adjustments Qualifications Qualifications: · Able to arrive to work consistently and on time · Able to work with a team, read and understand instructions, and listen and follow instructions · lift up to 50 pounds, stand on concrete for extended periods of time. · withstand temperatures of up to 100 degrees.
