POSITION SUMMARY The position of Plant Manager for Pero Family Farms Food Company, LLC is located in Delray Beach, FL at our fully integrated facility. This is an all-encompassing position that is important to the continued success of the company. This position exhibits strong communication and leadership. Overseeing all aspects of the operations while working closely with Pero Family Farms Corporate Supply, Operations, Distribution, and Sales Teams. JOB OVERVIEW Oversee daily/weekly schedules and shifts. Ensure that good housekeeping and organization are in place in the operational facility. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations. Communicate with Legal Counsel and the safety department to ensure all processes remain compliant with OSHA and other governmental regulations. Initiate corrective actions to audit deficiencies. MANUFACTURING: Ensure order fulfillment, product traceability, and product quality measures are being met daily. Will be responsible for the training of personnel on the proper use of equipment. Participate in operational problem resolution. Prepare an annual budget and schedule expenditures. Ensure preventive/predictive maintenance systems is routinely used to plan/schedule equipment and facility maintenance. Track vendor pricing and service levels. Develop, implement, enforce, and evaluate policies and procedures; follow SOPs for all manufacturing operations (receiving product, equipment utilization, production, inventory management, or shipping). Meet or exceed labor budget KPI's such as labor cost, per pound, bags per minute, etc. Review and approve all operational invoices and ensure they are submitted for payment. Serve as the primary point of contact when there are customer issues related to equipment quality, customer service, or accidents on-site. Communicate customer issues with the operations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints. Minimize shrinkage of product and maximize yield WORKFORCE MANAGEMENT: Recruit, select, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel, and discipline direct reports. Communicate job expectations; communicate effectively at staff meetings, conduct employee reviews, etc. Manage staff levels, wages, hours, contract labor to revenues. DIRECT AND INDIRECT REPORTS: Direct Reports: Operations Manager, Production Manager, Maintenance Manager Indirect Reports: Shipping, Transportation, Quality Control, Human Resources, & Purchasing PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS: Required to stand for long periods. Frequent pushing, pulling, walking, kneeling, and reaching. Constant use of hands and firm grasping. Occasionally to frequently carrying or lifting products of 5 pounds to 50 pounds. Constant exposure to temperatures of 36-45 degrees or below. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Food Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. Responsibilities Oversee project planning and interface with suppliers and contractors. Lead technical execution to maintain adherence to safety and performance goals. Coordinate activities or groups such as safety programs, engineering, construction, budget analytics, and contract administration. Interface with landowners, local regulators, and state agencies. Experience in wind turbine construction and inspections. Must have at least 7 years of generator maintenance experience in the Power Generation industry. Ability to work with industrial personal protection equipment and able to climb turbine decks Experience supervising Power Plant overhaul/outage planning/execution work. Mechanical coordinator must have prior Steam/Combustion turbine, HRSG, Boiler, or Valve maintenance oversight experience. Electrical coordinator must have Generator, Exciter, Auxiliary equipment maintenance supervision experience. Instrument Control coordinator must have instrumentation control systems calibration, testing, and tuning experience. Work Environment This is an office-based role that incorporates travel on an as-needed basis. The work involves supporting Power Plant outages. The candidate should be able to qualify LOTO In Plant Clearance requirements after training and be able to travel to the work site and work according to the overhaul/outage schedule. In support of the university's mission and objectives, the Live Production Manager oversees the audio, video, and lighting production for all campus events, ensuring high-quality execution for a variety of university functions. This role leads a team of AV technicians, providing training and managing equipment to maintain top-tier production standards. Additionally, the position collaborates on budget management and process improvements, while ensuring the efficient delivery of events across campus. Event Production Oversight * Oversees the excellent execution of audio, video and lighting production for live events across campus including chapel services, special speakers, academic presentations, performances and student life and recruitment events. * Directs audio and video elements at high profile events for the campus community. * Oversees livestreaming and recording of events as needed. * Engages with the Creative Services team on management of final, edited recordings for best delivery and storage. Team Management & Training * Develops a detailed training program and best practices guidelines for the Creative Services team. * Trains and manages a team of full-time, part-time, and student AV techs, ensuring best practices across technical skills and event etiquette. * Trains team members on proper operation of AV equipment and event production management. Equipment & Budget Management * Manages the inventory of AV equipment, ensuring all venue spaces are in the best working order and equipment and supplies are kept updated and operating properly. * Manages equipment inventory, process enhancements, and preparation for university events to ensure excellent delivery of all production goals. * Partners with the Director of Advancement Production on budget preparation and alignment with departmental goals. * Collaborates with the Director of Advancement Production on evaluation of processes and creating enhancements to deliver the best overall experience. * Other duties as assigned.
