What You Will Accomplish You will be embedded directly with our brokerage teams, gaining real-time exposure to the lifecycle of a trade. Your core responsibilities will include:

Derivatives Mastery: Gain practical, hands-on knowledge of derivative contracts, specializing in futures, options, and spread strategies for crude oil and refined products.
Trade Flow Support: Monitor client market participation (offers) to identify potential buyers and sellers, assisting brokers in matching customers to facilitate liquidity.
Exchange Operations: Utilize professional trading platforms (ICE & CME) to route customer trades and gain familiarity with the mechanics of futures contract lifecycles.

* Meet with parents to discuss pertinent background information and test results. Conduct individual and/or group counseling sessions as directed by the IEP.

* Consult with psychologists, psychiatrists, medical doctors, and community agencies concerning intellectual, emotional, and behavioral functioning of students as needed

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Recognizes safety hazards and follows safety guidelines for personal protection, protection of fellow workers and the protection of the public.
Knowledgeable of environmental rules and regulations, and effectively apply them to all work situations.
Installs, maintains tests, inspects, and repairs generating station equipment such as boilers, turbines, pumps, condensers, heat exchangers, and pressure vessels.
Replaces bearings, packing in pumps and valves, shaft seals, sleeves, seats, and other miscellaneous parts used in plant equipment.
Works with mechanics and skill enhancement employees to teach proper, safe use of tools and maintenance procedures.
Perform safety related duties such as accepting work authorizations, hot work permits, confined space entry permits, etc.
Ability to use hand tools (i.e. wrenches, screwdrivers, sledgehammers, etc).
Ability to use shop tools (i.e. power saws, drills, drill presses, and lathes).
Minimum Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
2 years of military experience in mechanical maintenance repair, inspection, and/or maintenance of pumps, turbines, auxiliary equipment or engines OR machine shop equipment experience including inspection and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, fabricating and diagnostics.
Valid State Driver's License

Law Student Academic Interns are not paid a salary and can work a maximum of 40 hours per week during the summer internship term. Fall interns will work completely in- person during our 8 week internshipprogram. HCDAO does not offer remote internships. If you are chosen and you are bar card eligible, you will be required to obtain you bar card once you assigned to a supervising attorney.

Work with a variety of tax Shareholders, Managers, Associates and other interns on an array of tax returns
Assist with preparation of corporate and individual tax returns including personal property, partnerships, C-Corp and S-Corp returns
Gain exposure to tax returns in a variety of industries including manufacturing, construction, non-profit, auto dealership, retail, restaurant and more
Conduct tax research and work on tax projections using information compiled by the audit staff or provided by the client
4. International Tax Intern
As an international tax intern, you will go through a hands-on training program during the first two weeks of the internship in which you will learn how to utilize tax software programs, develop an understanding of tax procedures and work closely with seasoned tax professionals including shareholders. Your responsibilities and experiences will be similar to those of our first-year tax associates and is a great way to see firsthand how rewarding a public accounting career can be.
Responsibilities:
Work with a variety of Shareholders, Managers, Associates and other interns on an array of tax returns
Assist with the preparation of foreign disclosures and corporate returns for inbound and outbound companies
Assist with individual tax returns and foreign disclosures for cross border employees
Conduct research and ongoing collaboration with the international tax team members
Work on a variety of industries and a wide range of projects outside of standard tax preparation
Qualifications for all opportunities:
Pursuing a bachelor's or master s degree in Accounting
Completion of at least one intermediate accounting course by winter 2026 preferred
3.0 GPA (cumulative and in accounting major)
Ability to take off winter semester classes (January through mid-April) and work 40+ hours per week is preferred (open to part-time internships depending on office location and service group)
Work experience preferred (related or unrelated to accounting)
Strong drive and motivation to pursue a career in public accounting
