The PW1100G-JM geared turbofan engine powers the Airbus A320 and A321 family of aircraft and has a current in-service fleet of over 4,500 engines and ~60 customers. The fleet and program are experiencing unprecedented levels of growth with ~300 new aircraft entering service each year over 900 overhauls in 2024 growing to 2,000 in the next several years. The Program Fleet Intern for the PW1100G-JM engine is part of the 30K Program Office in the Pratt & Whitney Commercial Engines business. The 30K Program Office is responsible to ensure the achievement of total program venture and leads the Integrated Product Management Team (IPMT). The Fleet Intern has the unique opportunity to support the growth of this new fleet and to work with many organizations across Pratt & Whitney on initiatives that support the safe and reliable operation of the PW1100G-JM engine.
