Act as overall QA Coordinator on behalf of client for all pipeline projects on North Slope. Review and Approve Pipeline Laying Contractor and Fabrication Contractor's Inspection and Test Plans. Review and Approve Contractor Quality Processes to ensure the plans and processes submitted meets project specifications and state & federal regulatory body requirements. Review, witness and approves Welding Procedures and Welder & Operator qualifications. Oversee inspection of Line pipe, Pipeline, Welding and NDE conducted at various pipeline installations & facilities. Verify that welds are properly marked for identification and traceable to material of origin. Coordinate with Inspection Coordinator to source competent quality resources from Third Party Inspection Agencies. Verify that weld numbers, pipe numbers are properly identified and logged on inspection reports. Verify that welding is performed according to procedures, specifications, codes, & standards. Maintain daily log of inspection activities. Manage and Monitor Audits and NCRs until final close\-out of the findings. Review, Validate and accept Final Quality Data Books received from various Line Pipe, Pipeline and Bend Suppliers. Reports To: Mortgage Process Development Manager Primary Functions: Assist in gathering, researching, analyzing and preparing recommendations and business requirements for new applications and processes, system enhancements and evaluation of new technologies. Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a thorough working knowledge of Global Credit Union Home Loans and Global Credit Union Real Estate Department operations, systems, services, procedures, workflows and training materials. Assist in the development of new workflows and enhancements. Assist in the analysis of technical/operational problems, development of recommendations and presentation of findings to department management as assigned. Ensure the integrity of new systems and systems changes through preparation and execution of test plans and the preparation of business procedures to be used by mortgage and real estate staff. Gather, document and maintain business unit requirements for applicable project integration or system enhancement requests. Develop knowledge of current and emerging technologies and best practices. May assist the Senior Mortgage Process Development Analyst in the preparation of business proposals for the evaluation and selection of application systems, development of system enhancements and acquisition of new technologies. Perform other duties as assigned in support of team efforts and results. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or related field. Advanced industry courses in real estate lending including knowledge of mortgage lending process in an automated environment. Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Three years of real estate lending experience in a similar capacity with an understanding of workflows and systems analysis. Industry courses in real estate lending and an understanding of industry standards, programs and regulations preferred. Experience/Skills: Two years in real estate lending at the Underwriting, Loan Origination, Senior Loan Processing or Secondary Marketing level. Familiarity of general requirements of Alaska Housing Finance Corporation, VA, FHA, RD and conventional mortgage financing. Demonstrated analytical/problem solving skills. Good interpersonal and communication skills in both written and oral format. Good organizational skills. Proficient in end user computer technologies.
