Job Description:
About the Role:
As a QA Document Coordinator, you will play a critical role in managing and maintaining documentation related to quality assurance processes at our Manawa, WI, facility, a manufacturer of dry blends. You will ensure all quality system documents are accurate, current, and compliant with applicable standards and regulations, supporting our site's commitment to food safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:
Own and manage the site quality document process, ensuring all documents are regularly revised, properly stored, and effectively trained as required.
Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines, maintaining a high level of organization.
Perform regular data entry and formatting tasks as required by the Quality Management System (QMS).
Manage and maintain the site Management Systems training matrix, ensuring all employees are up to date on required training and document validation.
Oversee document storage and records retention programs, ensuring compliance with retention policies for both digital and physical records.
Serve as the primary contact for site and corporate management regarding management systems and document control inquiries.
Actively participate in audits, owning key sections to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
Proactively manage document taxonomy, focusing on document control, recall ease, orderly preservation, and destruction scheduling.
Maintain, develop, and train staff on PRP and GMP Internal Audit procedures, ensuring compliance with SQF Level requirements.
Conduct third-party audits for offsite vendors, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Plan and organize comprehensive document review structures and manage documentation needs across the site.
Develop and retain records for continuous skills programs in collaboration with management groups to meet SQF Level 3 standards.
Participate as a member of the Food Safety team and act as a backup leader as needed.
Identify and report missing documentation as required by policy.
Perform other duties as assigned.

LRC is headquartered in Green Bay out of our Graham location and has three divisions - Shawano Specialty Papers, Graham Professional, and Nexxa - Print Division. Nexxa is a flexographic printing plant that supplies printed film, paper, and nonwovens to the retail towel and tissue category, as well as medical, commercial, and industrial industries.
This position will be the “Voice of the Customer” on the manufacturing floor, supporting the manufacturing team to meet and exceed quality expectations. Your Role:
As a Quality Analyst, you will works closely with the Quality department, Process Leaders, Corporate Quality, R&D, and Manufacturing. Assist with Quality training for new and existing employees, including the implementation of Presto Procedures and inspection methodologies. Maintain training records for quality documentation.
Regularly perform audits on items such as quality checks, documentation, run conditions, and lock detectors. Communicate results and monitor for trends.
Conduct online and inventory product audits based on process performance and customer complaints. Perform AQL sample inspections on incoming components, raw materials, production processes, and finished products including Imports, when necessary.
Participate in checking-in import containers and updating database. Pull and inspect import product samples per AQL inspection (or other) requirements, when necessary.
Prepare certificates of conformance, certificates of analysis, and any other inspection documentation required by customers, accurately and in a timely fashion.
Perform or participate in assigning disposition of nonconforming product and other aspects of the Hold process.
Plan, organize, analyze, and review PPAP's as needed to validate process changes and/or new products prior to being released to production. This may also include completing layout inspections, developing sampling plans, testing product, analyzing data, or completing necessary paperwork.
Effectively utilize the Presto Quality databases for PPAPs, Holds, CARs, and supplier defects. Analyze for trends and publish findings.
Responsible to comply with SQF and/or GMP practices, as specified at the individual plant, and programs to ensure safe food packaging product and to report food safety problems to those with authority to take action. Establish, maintain, and audit compliance to plant GMP's, in accordance with regulatory and customer requirements. Create and distribute monthly GMP audit reports and monitor corrective actions. Participate in 3rd party GMP and/or SQF audits, when requested.
If assigned, lead the HACCP team and manage the HACCP program, developing, implementing, and maintaining a food safety plan to control and assure food safety. If assigned as a HACCP team member, participate in the development, implementation, and review of the HACCP plan to ensure food safety for the facility.
If assigned as SQF Practitioner, oversee the development, implementation, review, and maintenance of the SQF System, including food safety fundamentals and the food safety HACCP plan. Ensure the integrity of the SQF System, in part through validation and verification activities. Communicate to personnel as necessary to ensure effective implementation and maintenance of the system. Validate changes to food safety fundamentals and food safety plans that have an impact on the ability to deliver safe food. If assigned as SQF Practitioner back-up, fill in as the site's SQF Practitioner when necessary.
Understand the product withdrawal / recall process, and effectively assist in mock recalls as well as any actual recalls or product withdrawals.

3+ years of experience in the meat industry at a supervisory level.

* Coordinates focus studies and researches medical literature when necessary to evaluate quality measures, benchmarks and quality of care.
* Utilize electronic health records and health information systems to support quality improvement efforts
* Ensure data integrity and security in all quality and clinical transformation activities.
* Works closely with the analytics team to obtain actionable information to improve patient care and service, improve population health management, and reduce the total cost of care.
* Promote individual professional growth and development and serves as preceptor, mentor and resource to less experienced staff.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 3 to 5 years of clinical care experience in area of intended practice and process improvement (acute, ambulatory, post-acute). Experience with and/or working knowledge of basic process improvement method: PDSA, Process mapping, and project management is required.
* Experience in performance improvement activities is preferred. Prior leadership experience preferred.
* Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or other healthcare related bachelor's required.
* Master of Science in Nursing or other healthcare related master's degree preferred.
* Knowledge and experience with a wide variety of computer programs including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. Must be proficient in EPIC electronic health record
* Advanced training in process improvement methodologies including: Lean, Six Sigma and Change Management.
* Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) by the National Associate for Healthcare Quality strongly preferred or ability to obtain within 18 months of start date.
* Licensed RN in WI, a compact state, or ability to become licensed in WI

Sensory analysis on all brands at different production stages

Analytical chemistry routine testing and method development, including ABV/SRM/IBU analysis

Maintain calibration and proper operation of lab equipment, ensure accuracy of and help develop SOPs
