Your Role:
As the Quality Manager, you will lead all quality assurance, quality control, and laboratory operations across the organization. You will own the ISO-based Quality Management System, ensure regulatory and customer compliance, and drive a strong culture of quality throughout manufacturing, engineering, and operations.
What You'll Do:
• Lead, mentor, and develop the quality organization, including laboratory and quality technicians.
• Own and maintain the ISO Quality Management System, serving as the ISO Management Representative.
• Plan, conduct, and respond to internal and external ISO audits, ensuring ongoing compliance.
• Audit, investigate, and report product non-conformities and scrap; lead corrective and preventive actions.

• Utilize ERP systems and software tools (e.g., SAP, JDE, MS Office, advanced Excel) for quality reporting and analysis.
What You'll Bring:
• Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of leadership experience in quality management, quality control, or laboratory operations within Rubber manufacturing.
• Strong working knowledge of ISO standards and Quality Management Systems
• Proven experience serving as an ISO Management Representative or leading ISO audits preferred.
• Ability to lead people, manage multiple priorities, and work independently in a fast-paced, multi-product environment.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills.

* Ensures that the products furnished to customers comply with company, industry, national and/or international standards and special customer requirements by developing and leading internal audits at the Alabama Works and to audit procedures and work instructions.

* Ensure maintenance of all test and inspection equipment.
* Responsible for reporting to the management team the status of the quality management system including audit findings, corrective actions, and follow-up activities.
* Responsible for assisting in the investigation and reporting on customer complaints.
* Ensure that employees and supervisors are properly trained on the QMS.
* Serves as a representative for on-site customer visits and inspections.

• High School diploma, General Education Diploma (GED)• Quality experience in a manufacturing environment preferred• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, or procedure manuals• Must have mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply and divide. This position is responsible for providing quality and technical support to the production team providing oversight to manufacturing rooms and laboratories by reviewing and approving data and all other Quality Management System documentation. The position utilizes risk management, quality planning and statistical analysis to complete assigned tasks..
RESPONSIBILITIES
Represent quality department on development project teams.
Review and approve product and process-related documentation.
Support the generation and justification of product and materials specifications.
Provide support for the development of validation strategies and validation plans.
Review/approve protocols and reports.
Support Deviation / CAPA investigations.
Support interdisciplinary teams for root cause analysis of quality deficits using known of problem-solving tools.
Support product quality and System improvements activities.
Support collection and analyze data to identify opportunities for quality improvement.

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Engineering.
Minimum eight years' experience in pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing, preferred.
Minimum five years' experience in a pharmaceutical or medical device Quality Assurance role preferred.
Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access.
High attention to detail, organization, and accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Good interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of FDA's cGMP and/or QSR quality system requirements.

The RN Clinical Documentation Specialist conducts clinically based concurrent and retrospective reviews of inpatient medical records to evaluate the clinical documentation of acute care services. He/she works with minimum supervision and must be self-motivated and demonstrates excellent initiative. This individual works closely with physicians and medical staff to facilitate appropriate physician documentation of patient care. He or she will play a key role in reporting quality of care outcomes and in obtaining accurate and compliant reimbursement for acute care services. Previous CDI experience is highly desired. Case management experience is helpful. The selected candidate will be able to build a collaborative work environment with physicians, physician extenders, nurses, case managers and medical records coders.
