Key Responsibilities
Monitors processes to ensure compliance with food safety, regulatory and company compliance, including GMP, HACCP, and SOPs.
Collects microbiological and product samples for testing and evaluation.
Performs checks of product quality against specifications.

Job Description
The Quality Technician will be responsible for ensuring all cabinets and components meet company and customer quality standards throughout the production process. This role will involve inspecting materials, monitoring production lines, performing product testing, and documenting quality findings to maintain compliance with internal specifications and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished cabinets to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
Perform routine measurements and tests using tools such as calipers, tape measures, and other inspection equipment.
Document and communicate quality issues, defects, or non-conformances to production and quality teams.
Work closely with production operators to provide feedback and support corrective actions.
Assist in root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts for quality-related concerns.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality data in company systems.
Follow established quality control procedures and company safety guidelines.
Participate in internal audits and customer inspections as needed.
Support training efforts for production staff on quality standards and best practices.

Assist Tech Services with troubleshooting of aircraft
In addition to routine inspection duties, an inspector may be required to perform receiving inspections of materials and/or equipment for use on MAC aircraft.

What You'll Do:
All aspects of CIPP liner preparation, including staging, wrapping, loading, and securing for transport
Operate wet out or truck conveyors or tugger systems, operate static mixers, and other process-related equipment in a safe, efficient manner
Load wetout tubes in totes or trucks according to processes and procedures
Mix chemicals that require wearing a respirator
Perform all work according to safety / quality standards and follow all environmental procedures

Key Responsibilities
Supervises the day-to-day activities of a team of entry level individual contributors. Provides guidance, coaching, and support to ensure successful completion of tasks. Participates in HR activities such as hiring, terminations, performance management, goal setting, team member development, scheduling, etc. Enforces systems, policies, and procedures. Reviews and approves timecards.

Works closely with USDA.
Reviews all paperwork to ensure proper procedures are followed. Investigates and escalates issues as appropriate.
Assists with facility, customer, and third-party audits and audit preparation. Responsible for daily SOP audits.
Participates in investigation of product failures and customer complaints. May provide recommended solution to management team.
Communicates with all levels of management to ensure they maintain control of the process.
Identifies opportunities and supports creation and implementation of plant processes and/or product improvement projects.
Maintains the technical expertise of team with recurring training in all areas with their functional area.

About the Role:
Our Faison, NC facility - a leading producer of high-quality pickle products - is seeking a Quality System Technologist. In this role, you will support and manage the implementation of quality systems and compliance programs that uphold food safety, product quality, and sanitation standards. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices while driving continuous improvement throughout the plant.
You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:
Manage manufacturing compliance documentation to meet federal, state, and internal standards.
Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining QA and sanitation programs and policies.
Provide regulatory and manufacturing compliance guidance on emerging issues and standards.
Support internal and external audits, including preparation, on-site participation, and follow-up.
Lead or assist in resolving quality-related issues such as customer complaints, product holds, and deviations.
Support implementation and maintenance of systems such as Document Control, SPC, SQF, HACCP, and other quality initiatives.
Contribute to training development, including food safety and quality content, and support the Learning Management System (LMS).
Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, and Operations on product quality improvement, cost-effectiveness, and plant testing.
Track, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor quality system performance.
Analyze microbiological and technical data to identify trends and drive corrective/preventive actions.

This is a full-time, on-site position based at our Faison, NC pickle plant on first shift. Occasional flexibility may be required to support alternate shifts, audits, or project work.
