Your role at Baxter: The Quality Technician may be responsible for sample management including sample handling, processing, and tracking of Stability and Alternate Stability Samples. This position may also support weight loss analysis. The position will be in the Round Lake, IL Stability Laboratories within Product Quality serving multiple global businesses. This role is essential for supporting the global commercial product teams and/or product development teams. A candidate must not be allergic to Penicillin and Cephalosporin or their related products and/or materials. What you will be doing: • Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with company SOPs and specifications, FDA, cGxP, and QSR regulations. • Participate in cross functional teams, which impact production, increase efficiency, solve problems, generate cost savings and improve quality and provide new product support. • Perform weight loss analysis and assist with analyst review of test data, which includes overall documentation practices. • Perform review functions in LIMS or other computerized systems. • Support all Incoming sample activities such as, but not limited to: logging of samples, coordinate stability study carton labels, labelling of cartons/units, sample transfers, etc. • Accurately complete al associated documentation. • Support emergency/same day requests, if required. • Support pulling and delivery of all weekly stability samples. • Pull discard samples tagged for disposal and coordinate discard of products with the Environmental Waste management personnel. • Maintain all storage areas organized and coordinate maintenance of stability chambers as needed and when requested by management. What do you bring: • High School Diploma or GED required. • Associate Degree in related discipline • 0-3 years related experience, preferred. • Possess relevant writing and computer skills. • Able to work in a team environment appropriately supporting other. • Self-motivated and takes personal responsibility for getting the job done. • Must communicate effectively with managers, peers, and subordinates. • Understand importance of project schedules and impact of not achieving milestones. • Able to adapt to shifting priorities. • Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving. • Ability to perform a large amount of lifting. • Forklift certification preferred. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position.
