The Quality Control Technician is responsible for laboratory and field testing of materials primarily focusing on asphalt mixes and aggregates. This role is critical to the successful execution of the Airfield Projects and involves frequent travel to job sites across the Pacific and continental U.S and any other location as business dictates. The position requires experience in laboratory procedures, equipment calibration, data integrity, and field test coordination. This individual serves as a key technical contributor within a high-stakes, federally governed infrastructure project. This position supports the Quality Department by ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements through effective inspection, testing, and documentation practices. The Quality Technician plays a key role in maintaining and improving our Quality Management System (QMS), with a strong focus on ISO13485 standards and continuous improvement. This is a full-time, non-exempt paid position, and the hours for this position are Monday-Thursday, 3:00PM-1:30AM. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Operate a variety of inspection equipment (CT scanner, vision system, CMM, calipers, micrometer, gauges, etc.). Walk the production floor and collect part samples for the Quality Lab. Walk the production floor and perform visual inspection of parts to provide real time feedback to manufacturing. Review records and ensure GDP compliance. Perform and record inspections to support production activities. Perform and record inspections to support development activities (GR&R studies, FAIs, correlation analysis and capability analysis). Perform and record inspections of incoming raw materials. Review inspection results for completeness and appropriateness and escalate if issues arise. Communicate inspection results with internal team members. Work with production and development to inspect product in a timely manner. Perform Shipping Review Checklist. Execute clearnroom particulate testing as directed. Assist in the improvement and maintenance of the Quality Management System. Draft new departmental procedures and revise existing ones as needed. Supports Isometric ISO 13485 continuous improvement initiatives. Other duties as assigned. Education and/or Experience: Associate's degree in a related technical field or 2+ years of relevant quality inspection experience. Understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T concepts. Knowledge of inspection methods and equipment. Experience in medical molding and validation preferred. Strong attention to detail and quality orientation. Ability to work independently and follow procedures in a regulated environment. Production Technician 1st/2nd/3rd shift $17.25/hr+ $1.50 for 2nd shift, +$2 for 3rd shift 3 month contract that could possibly go perm MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES You will focus on one area, and we plan to cross-train in the future so that you may work in any area. We have many departments and would love to interview you, to see where you would best fit! In the coating area, you may work as: A Clipper, clipping and securing lenses into baskets to begin the coating process. A Machine Operator, preparing and operating the coating machine to coat the lenses properly. This will include: Loading and unloading sectors with lenses. Finishing- A Beveler, utilizing the bevel wheel to remove the sharp edges of the lens. A Mounter, inserting edged lenses to ensure proper fit and alignment, and inserting lenses into the frame while ensuring proper fit. An Edger Operator, using variety of edging machines to cut lenses down to proper size and shape to fit the appropriate frame. A Finish Layout preparer, readying uncut lenses for the edging process by outlining the center/alignment markings and affixing the chuck/block. A Tinter, accurately tinting all lenses. An inspector, checking lenses and frames to ensure quality standards are met BASIC QUALIFICATIONS To be a good fit for the Production Associate opportunity, you will have: A high school diploma or equivalent.
