Customer Technology - Quality Assurance Tester assess the quality of systems and applications through manual testing in a fast-paced, results oriented environment. The primary goal of this position is to prevent bugs from being released into production through regular and rigorous software and hardware testing. When issues occur, the Quality Assurance Tester is diligent in resolving them in a timely manner by collaborating with colleagues in engineering, as needed. In addition, the Quality Assurance Tester performs root cause analysis to identify and implement preventative measures by providing transparency patterns and trends. This position plays a key role in improving departmental processes and procedures, change management, and development standards. Qualifications: Associate's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or 2-4 years of related field, or equivalent 1-3 years of experience in manual software and/or hardware testing, user acceptance testing, quality assurance, or a related technical role. Experience executing and maintaining manual test scrips. Experience using Jira or similar defect tracking and project management tool Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and quality assurance methodologies. Ensure all assigned testing equipment, both in-office and remote, is fully functional and tested regularly. Maintain accurate and up to date records in the company's equipment tracking system. Support continuous improvement of testing processes, development standards, and change management practices, Adhere to established quality standards, policies, and procedures.
