We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and customer-focused Repair Station Quality Inspector to support training, development, and standards functions at Cirrus Aircraft. This individual plays a critical role in ensuring operational excellence through quality control of in-process, incoming, and outgoing inspections, mechanic training, work order recordkeeping, and return-to-service processes. The ideal candidate has a strong passion for quality systems, shows exceptional initiative, and demonstrates a proactive mindset. The successful applicant will possess proficiency in Microsoft Office products, working knowledge of FAA Parts 145, 43, 91, and 135, and experience with Cirrus SR and SF aircraft. This position is for night shift Tuesday - Friday 1:30pm - 12:00am. Night shift comes with a 10% shift differential Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions * Conduct hidden-damage, in-process, and final inspections on civil aviation articles in accordance with current technical data from manufacturers, FAA-approved data, and standard industry practices. * Perform receiving inspections on incoming materials and parts when the parts department is unavailable. * Provide on-the-job (OJT) training to newly hired Aviation Maintenance Technicians (AMTs). * Ensure thorough knowledge of applicable FAA regulations relevant to their duties. * Be proficient in inspection methods, techniques, tools, and equipment necessary for determining airworthiness. * Maintain proficiency in using Inspection Aids related to their assigned area of responsibility. * Verify inspection tools, equipment, and aids are in working order and properly calibrated with up-to-date calibration labels. * Understand applicable specifications, tolerances, and limitations as defined by the article's manufacturer. * Ensure inspections are performed and recorded correctly, and that maintenance and alteration records are properly executed prior to return-to-service authorization. * When authorized and properly qualified, perform return-to-service approvals for repaired, maintained, or altered articles. Work directly with the engineering team to develop new operation processes and operate various machines to produce quality parts as instructed. Work directly with the engineering team to develop new operation processes and operate various machines to produce quality parts as instructed. Ensure all operations adhere to company procedures and safety standards, contributing to a clean and efficient work environment. Responsibilities + Operate Electrical Discharge Machine (EDM), waterjet, air flow, and laser machines to produce quality parts as instructed by Operation Process Sheets. + Work with tools such as drill press, belt sander, orbital sander, swivel deburr, bench grinder, and other hand tools according to instructions. + Utilize inspection equipment to ensure product quality. + Complete documentation accurately and correctly scan on/off shop orders. + Utilize and understand operation process sheets and inspect parts per character control sheets. + Notify Supervisor immediately in case of damage, defect, or inability to proceed efficiently. + Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments as needed. + Use approved software and follow company processes and procedures. + Perform all tasks in a safe and reasonable manner according to the company's Employee Handbook. + Maintain a clean and safe work environment and contribute to the company's 6S program and Lean concepts. + Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions. Dassault Falcon Jet will serve customers across North and South America and beyond, the complex will accommodate all current Falcon models, (including the new, ultra-long-range Falcon 10X, the largest purpose-built business jet), and will be capable of performing major maintenance and modifications on up to 18 Falcon models. Dassault Falcon Jet in Melbourne, Florida is seeking a Quality Control Inspector who will be primarily responsible for performing inspections of aircraft maintenance and alterations for quality and airworthiness. The Quality Control Inspector may also perform aircraft maintenance (including inspection), preventive maintenance and alteration and assist customers with technical and operational support relative to the customer's aircraft.
