Radio 105 company history timeline
Alle 15.40 del 16 febbraio del 1976, in un piccolo studio allestito in un appartamento del quartiere Giambellino, nella periferia di Milano, ha inizio una grande avventura: per la prima volta una emittente privata trasmette il proprio segnale in tutta Italia.
In 1978 Southern Broadcasting sold Q105 to Harte-Hanks Southern Communications Group.
Bary and Sharon Nienow established WYTE, a country music station in Whiting in 1985, and a broadcaster from Texas built WMGU, (Magic 105) in Stevens Point a few years later.
In 1986, the company exited the broadcast business.
WIZD, although licensed to Rudolph in Wood County, went on the air in the fall of 1990 from studios in Plover, broadcasting "Oldies" music.
In a multi-station swap, Q105 WRBQ-FM was acquired by the Beasley Broadcast Group from CBS in late 2014.
