Summary: As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be assisting branch sales force in achieving and exceeding revenue goals in assigned territory for all product lines by prequalifying leads, generating quotes and taking orders - enabling the sales force to make greater number of face-to-face sales opportunities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Handles inbound sales leads to convert leads into sales, or refers them to field representatives or partners, as appropriate. Meets or exceeds assigned quarterly sales quotas. Makes outbound lead follow-up calls to potential and existing customers or to partners by telephone and e-mail to qualify leads and sell solutions. Meets outbound call metrics as set and measured on a monthly basis. * Builds and maintains customer and/or partner relationships, emphasizes marketable features, quotes prices and credit terms, prepares sales orders, and estimates date of delivery based on delivery schedules, coordinates customer and/or partner training. * Assists Outside Sales Representatives with optimizing opportunities through scheduling of appointments /meaningful selling interactions. * Works in coordination with Outside Sales Representatives to update and maintain CRM records such as contact information, activities, accounts, leads and opportunities. * Acts as the main point of contact with customer to take basic orders and assist with change orders. * Supports respective sales team in areas such as quotation generation, customer follow-up and support, accessing information about specific customers and other support functions. Serves as a liaison between customers and/or partners and appropriate company departments to resolve customer and/or partner issues, such as accounts receivables. Prepares reports of business transactions, enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database or CRM, overcomes technical and business objections of prospective customers, investigates and resolves customer or partner problems. * Assists with setting up appointments for trade show events, association meetings, lunch and learns, product demonstrations and other business related meetings. The Ideal Candidate The Office of Public Trust Liaison seeks a Public Trust Representative I-III (PTR) with excellent customer service skills. Distinguishing Characteristics (for PTR I) This is the entry-level classification in the Public Trust Representative classification series. Incumbents work under direct supervision while learning job tasks, progressing to general supervision as procedures and processes of assigned areas of responsibility are learned. The Public Trust Representative I classification is distinguished from the Public Trust Representative II classification by the latter's ability to independently perform the full range of duties.
