The positions will begin as contract, but have strong likelihood to transition to permanent. Job Description RESPONSIBILITIES Performs and interprets tests at all complexity levels. Demonstrates an understanding of the theory and scientific principles of laboratory testing as well as the technical, procedural and problem solving aspects. Correlates abnormal laboratory data with pathological states determines the validity of test results and the need for additional tests. Determines the validity of test results through the monitoring and/or verifying of quality controls, standards, etc. Communicates test results, ranges, specimen requirements, and other pertinent information to authorized sources. Participates in the introduction, investigation and implementation of new procedures and /or the evaluation of new instruments/equipment. Temp to Perm (3 month probationary period) Qualifications REQUIREMENTS: Associate's Degree of an accredited technology program and eligibility for certification from a recognized national certifying organization. ASCP certification is preferred, but not required. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Additional Information Pay Rate $17-24 HR based on experience determined by the hiring manager.
