RTX Ventures is our corporate venture capital organization that is responsible for identifying relevant transformational technologies and making strategic equity investments in early-stage and start-up companies that will help RTX continue to innovate and accelerate the future of aerospace and defense technology. As the Director, Investments you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative organizations and diverse people around the world. You will drive exploration, identification, diligence and execution of investment opportunities in support of RTX strategic and technology roadmaps. The role will collaborate closely with RTX Ventures colleagues, external advisors, and internal RTX executive leadership to identify transformative technologies, define segments of interest, build investment pipelines, and present opportunities to leadership. The role will report directly to the Managing Director and will work collaboratively with the RTX Ventures team to drive the full life cycle and success of our portfolio.
What You Will Do
Build and cultivate relationships in the start-up technology and venture capital communities (traditional VCs, universities and accelerator/incubators, etc.) to lead deal sourcing and attract co-investment
Engage in the entire investment process, as needed, including mapping investment trends, developing investment themes, building, sourcing and maintaining a pipeline of relevant investment opportunities, conducting due diligence and valuation analysis, pitching deals to the RTX Ventures steering committee and closing deals
Scout and screen a high volume of promising investment opportunities for in-depth evaluation
Lead all aspects of diligence, including business and technical diligence, through collaboration with colleagues and subject matter experts across the organization
Develop creative and highly tailored deal structures and processes that result in optimal solutions for unique project objectives
Establish productive working relationships with relevant corporate and business unit functions at RTX (Technology, Strategy, Finance, Legal, Digital) who might collaborate on and contribute to key venture investments
Represent RTX Ventures on board and/or board observer seats
Qualifications You May Have
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years experience.
At least ten (10) years of early-stage Corporate Venture Capital / Venture Capital investment experience in a private, public, or government environment
At least four (4) years of of entrepreneurial, business management, strategy, consulting, investment banking and/or business development experience
Demonstrated experience as a board member or observer in VC backed companies
Demonstrated results driving outcomes through productive relationships with start-up companies, VC firms, incubators and universities
Significant transaction and negotiation experience preferred - VC, M&A, joint ventures, minority investments, partnerships, etc.
Deep knowledge of valuation techniques, financial modeling, VC deal terms and structures
Ability to quickly comprehend new technologies and assess compatibility with existing business capabilities

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Program Management Director to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex programs spanning data center cards, servers, racks, and lab infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience driving end‑to‑end hardware programs, deep familiarity with data center environments and hyperscaler processes, and a proven ability to influence and execute across cross‑functional engineering and operations organizations. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and exceptional organizational discipline to ensure successful implementation of hardware solutions that align with business objectives and development timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Own and lead large-scale data center hardware programs-from concept through delivery and sustaining-ensuring schedule, budget, and quality commitments are met.
Develop program scope, milestones, resource plans, and success criteria in collaboration with engineering, operations, facilities, procurement, and senior leadership.
Drive day‑to‑day program execution, including cross-functional coordination, issue resolution, dependency management, and risk mitigation.
Manage program schedules and planning frameworks; proficiency with Microsoft Project or comparable tools is beneficial.
Establish and maintain strong vendor and supplier relationships to support hardware procurement and delivery timelines.
Lead executive‑level reporting: provide clear program status updates, risks, and escalation paths to stakeholders and leadership.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in data center hardware development and sustaining operations.
Oversee program budgets, track financials, and ensure cost‑effective execution.
This is an office‑based position in San Diego and is expected to comply with the Company's onsite work policy.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
8+ years of Program Management or related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Extensive experience in program management with a track record of delivering complex, multi‑disciplinary hardware programs.
Hands‑on experience with data center hardware and lab infrastructure development, testing, deployment, and vendor management.
Strong understanding of data center operations, hardware components, and supporting infrastructure.
High-level familiarity with software lifecycle concepts and reliability topics (e.g., RAS, Silent Data Errors) is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence without direct authority.
Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership.
Proficiency with program management tools and software.
Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in hyperscale data center design and operations.
Project/Program Management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
Pay Range and Other Compensation & Benefits
$188,000.00 - $282,000.00
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. Tools & Analytics
Proficiency with MS Project/Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence/SharePoint, and Microsoft 365.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to turn data into insights.
Education & Certifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field (advanced degree a plus).
Preferred: PMP; Agile certifications (PMI-ACP, CSM/PSM, SAFe).

Job Summary:
We are seeking Director of Preconstruction to lead our estimating team across our North Carolina, Texas, and Virginia markets.
Responsibilities:
Lead the preconstruction department, overseeing estimators, project coordinators, and design management staff to ensure all team members are aligned and productive.
Act as the primary liaison between estimating, operations, design teams, and company management to keep all groups informed and collaborative throughout the preconstruction phase.
