The perks / benefit of working for REC Silicon are
Our current CEO has the company and the employees at his best interest along with the shareholders. The leadership team is very good. They have a vision and provide direction to move the company forward in good years and bad.
I researched the company, understood what the company was about.
Communication and connection are very important. Employees want to know how the company is doing and when you share what you can, when you can, you earn the respect of your employees.
Helping the employees, making a difference for the betterment for them and their families. We're like a small family, everyone cares about each other.
We have a diverse work force.
REC Silicon is one of the very best companies to work for, they pay well, and the benefits are exceptional.
The pros of working at REC Advanced Silicon are multiple and varied. The department I work in is more like a family than a workplace. We are tightknit bunch and work very well together. The pay and benefits are unparalleled in my estimation. There is also much room for advancement.
The cons of working at REC are very few. The biggest drawback of working here is the commute from home. Being far out of town, you are stuck here for the entire day. REC does their best to alleviate this by having lunch trucks visit our site as well as bringing in lunches for the employees.
My favorite perk of working at REC is enjoying the flexibility to work different schedules, if need be and the pay and benefits. My manager is also great to work with. She gives us the autonomy we need to do our jobs and the support if needed.
The thing I like most about our leadership tea and our CEO is their accessibility. They are all approachable and never give the impression they are too high up the corporate ladder to talk to.
The only suggestion that I could make for improvement would be greater communication.
If I remember correctly, I prepared for my interview by reviewing accounting practices and general procedures. My background in business and finance helped immensely.
In my experience, the compensation offered by REC is much higher than the industry average.
I believe the diversity at REC is a great as the demographic location allows.
The most fulfilling part of working at REC would be a lot of my coworkers. Second to that would be the variety of my job. No two days are alike, and every day offers new challenges.
Number 1 is the work culture. The people of REC are excellent, real sense of community and team. Salary and benefits are also top notch, it is obvious that REC values me as an employee and takes action to show it through bonuses and other incentives. I have 16 years of work experience, including 6 years of military service, and REC is hands down the best company I have ever worked for.
My biggest con of working for REC is not being able to use medicinal marijuana for legitimate medical needs because they follow federal drug testing policies.
Free ski passes in the winter, free tool sharing from the workshop, excellent community of people, and good bonuses.
It's obvious that Kurt believes in the direction REC is headed, which encouraging and exciting for employees. He does a good job of communicating goals and other important information. He's always willing to take questions from anyone, regardless of position or title.
If it's not broken, don't fix it. I'm satisfied with the culture.
Did company research online and talked with current employees.
I think it is fair if not high.
I don't think hiring purely for diversity is a wise business practice, individuals should be assessed on their skills and how they can contribute to the company's growth and success. REC does have a very diverse group of employees, not because of their diversity, but because they were the best candidates for the role. The diversity is a bonus and does enrich the work culture.
Solving complex problems or tasks which I know directly influence our success.
They have good insurance.
The jobs can be, at times, high stress.
Living in Montana.
The CEO has a tremendous amount of hands-on experience in the industry and likes to drive improvement.
REC is above average for the area, but within or above average in the industry.
Diversity is representative of the region we live in.
When we accomplish a tough goal together as a team.
Biggest pros of working at REC ASIMI are the benefits and pay and employee engagement activities. The people here are great to work with.
My favorite perks of REC are the benefits and pay and flexibility within my schedule to accommodate work/life balance.
For the most part, they have the employees' best interest in mind.
I would improve the culture at REC ASIMI by making it less of a division between the two locations. There is an apparent difference between the two locations and causes moral to be low.
That was many years ago, I do not remember.
I believe my compensation at REC is higher than industry average.
Getting work completed and seeing results.
