As a Patient Services Representative with Corewell Health, you'll play a vital role in delivering top-notch healthcare service to our patients. You'll work as part of a team to provide registration, concierge, and clerical services. The service you provide in the role will make a real difference in the lives of those we serve.
Essential Functions
Serves as a concierge - greets and communicates with patients or visitors, including collecting payments and co-payments.
Performs clerical functions, including, but not limited to: answers practice phone calls; schedules patient appointments using a decision tree where applicable; orders supplies; generates patient letters; processes/sorts mail and supply deliveries, and processes registration reports. Responsible for identifying and reminding patients of health maintenance gaps. Documents patient phone calls in EHR for call routing / resolution.
Performs patient registration and check-in: confirms patient demographic and insurance information; assists patients with kiosk registration. Performs patient check-out: schedules follow-up appointments or confirms future appointments.
Maintains patient medical records according to standards; uploads Right Fax documents into EPIC. Responsible for basic EMR/HER scanning.
Actively participates in safety initiatives and risk mitigating measures where appropriate and completes all position and unit safety related competencies and requirements on a timely basis.

High School Diploma or equivalent
1 year of relevant experience in insurance billing, access management, patient financial services, electronic health records, lab service support or other related experience.

Crossroads Charter Academy is a K-12 school with a unique learning method focusing on the needs of students as individuals. Our K-5 students are taught using personalized learning which also incorporates project-based learning. CCA's 6th - 12th-grade students are offered flexible scheduling to accommodate learning outside the walls of the school through internships, college dual enrollment, and various community projects. Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian and Maintenance Facilities Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment for our facilities, ensuring that all areas are well-kept and presentable. This position plays a crucial role in supporting our school's mission by promoting a healthy and inviting atmosphere for both staff and students.
Responsibilities:
Essential Duties:
Responsible for cleanliness, maintenance, and safety of assigned buildings, equipment, and grounds.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize floors.
Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, countertops, and windows.
Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables.
Restock supplies in restrooms and break rooms as needed.
Conduct routine inspections to identify cleaning needs and report maintenance issues to management.
Follow established safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Assist with setup and breakdown of meeting rooms, events, and special functions as required.
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety.
Regular and predictable attendance.
Other duties as assigned.
Cognitive Demands:
Have knowledge of and practice safe cleaning and maintenance practices
Be able to perform routine cleaning and minor repairs
Be able to occasionally supervise students
Physical Demands:
Able to operate cleaning equipment safely

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous custodial or cleaning experience preferred
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and equipment
Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others
