Job Summary

Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
If position requires IV therapy/management skills, the following is required in North Dakota: graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.
Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the life span as part of the curriculum or have had a minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility. Primary responsibilities:
Resident Medical Care
* Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams regarding medical aspects of client admissions.

Staff Meetings & Required Training
* Completes all required trainings that are department/role specific & facility-wide requirements.
* Maintains and stay up to date with trainings and certifications (i.e., online trainings, internal and external in-person trainings, CPR certification, nursing license, first aid and safety, medication administration, and infection control etc.
* Participates in internal training opportunities with community partners.
Client Confidentiality
* Ensures client information remains confidential and compliant with Nexus policies involving client privacy, informed consent and confidentiality standards for clients and their families.
Requirements
Required Education and Licensure:
* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Our 36-bed state of the art NICU provides a combination single and pod style rooms, which allows for parents to stay with their infant 24/7, dedicated lactation support, Family Support Program, Respite room for parents, and air & ground transport, all while providing high tech care with heart.
Schedule
Full-time | 60-72 hours every two weeks | Onsite
Day/night rotation | 12-hour shifts | 7am-7:30pm/7pm-7:30am
Every other weekend (Fri-Sun) | rotating holidays
Pay and Benefits:
Pay based on experience and degree
