Job Summary
The Sr. Student Services Administrator works with the Graduate Program Director in Biomedical Engineering to manage all phases of the graduate student recruitment/admission process and the graduate student financial aid process for new and continuing students. This role works with prospective and current graduate students in order to recruit, retain, and advise students. The position also assists in all areas of the Office of Graduate Program, for the Department of Biomedical Engineering, and also interprets, communicates, and implements policies and procedures related to graduate student academic requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a related field
* Two or more years of experience in academic advising, student services, student affairs, career development, or a related

Representative Job Duties
* Maintain thorough knowledge of degree requirements in order to advise graduate and co-terminal students in plans of study and facilitate progress towards degree completion. Establish the framework and provide support for students to make informed academic decisions. Advise and track students on academic progress, requirements, and completion of milestones. Review, edit, and process forms completed by graduate students, including but not limited to Doctoral Student Yearly Review and Plan of Study.
* Work with the Department's Graduate Program Director (GPD) to develop and implement effective graduate student recruitment strategies and to enhance our program visibility with the goal to attract high quality US and international applicants for our graduate programs.
* Serve as point of contact for undergraduate and graduate students for information about and application to the co-terminal program, and application through to degree completion including support services, financial aid, and records maintenance. Process applications and work with Graduate Education personnel to get applications approved; collaborate with key staff and faculty to integrate undergraduate and graduate student needs in response to increasing numbers of co-terminal BS/MS students.
* Work with Graduate Admissions and the School of Engineering to market the graduate programs via departmental publications, recruiting visits to relevant conferences and schools; establish and maintain relationships with alumni of the department's programs and with key universities. Represent the departments at Institute academic recruitment events (Medalist Day, Discovery Day, Accepted Students Day, etc.).
* Collect and advertise graduate fellowship opportunities, organize fellowship application workshops, and support graduate students and their advisors, as well as relevant faculty in the department, with the graduate fellowship applications process.
* Assist the GPD in the preparation of materials and manage incoming application flow during the development and implementation of new graduate and certification programs for graduate students.
* Support the organization of the annual graduate student symposium, including soliciting submissions from graduate students, working with graduate committee on review of the submissions, and organizing and coordinating the schedule, the event, and prizes for award winners.
* Prepare statistical reports and complete graduate student surveys for organizations such as NSF and others. Obtain and maintain paperwork and records for accreditation purposes (e.g. ABET / Middle States). Follow up with faculty to ensure ABET criteria is met. Maintain required course binders.
* Update content of department publications and department and graduate program website and social media outlets pertaining to graduate/undergraduate students and programs. Develop new relevant content as needed (e.g., for recruiting and retaining students, presenting new graduate programs).
* Other related duties as assigned.

Job Summary
The Student Services Coordinator serves in the Office of Undergraduate Student Services, located in the Department of Mechanical, Aerospace and Nuclear Engineering. The Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of activities relating to the recruitment of new undergraduate students to the department, the retention and satisfaction of current students, and support of accreditation assessment activities. In addition, the Coordinator will be the first student-facing individual addressing general inquiries and questions for MANE students and faculty and is responsible for creating a welcoming environment for the School of Engineering and MANE. The Coordinator reports to the Senior Student Services Administrator. The Coordinator is expected to work independently and as part of a team of student-focused service providers.

* Plan, arrange and coordinate all admission events such as Medalist Day, Fall Open House, and Spring Accepted Student Celebrations. Coordinate special Department events: coordinate with entities across the campus as needed, anticipate needs, organize the necessary components for successful events, ensure readiness in advance of the activity and participate in execution of events
* Help build community within the MANE department through organization and facilitation of regularly scheduled social events. Coordinate with undergraduate and graduate student services on department event logistics, advertising, and planning
* Provide faculty with limited logistical support such as scheduling classrooms for tests and review sessions, facilitating testing accommodations for students when needed, and monitoring course syllabi compliance. Coordinate the course and final exam schedules of all MANE Department courses with UGSS Director and Institute personnel. Enter courses and faculty assignments into Institute wide enterprise systems in accordance with established standards and timetables.
* Work with ABET Curriculum Coordinators, Department faculty and ABET support staff throughout the academic year to ensure ABET requirements and polices are being followed; collect all necessary course documentation for review by external ABET evaluators.
* MANE Representative to coordinate Catalog and Curriculum revisions. Consult with MANE leadership including the Director of MANE Undergraduate Student Services, Associate Department Heads, etc. to incorporate all catalog revisions and curriculum template updates.
* Welcome on-site visitors to the JEC; answer general inquiries and direct visitors to appropriate locations and services as needed. Ordering supplies and other duties related to academic advising and office operations.
* Train, schedule, and provide direction to work study students to assist with department tasks.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

* Provide support for campus functions and events, including event preparation, setup and breakdown, litter control and site restoration.
* Protect items being transported and moved using appropriate materials. Protect buildings, elevators, grounds as necessary in preparation for movement of items. Assess building spaces, including rooms, hallways, and/or elevators, and materials to be moved for damage prior to move and document and report any pre-existing damage.
* Assist in sustainment of moving equipment, storage areas and equipment maintenance. Notify E&SS management of any equipment needing to be repaired and/or replaced.
* Comply with standing instructions provided by operating manuals, safety rules and regulations for personal protection and safety and the safety of others. Report instances of vandalism/theft of Institute property immediately to Supervisor or Public Safety. Maintain work and storage areas in a clean, organized and safe condition.
* Perform snow removal functions in accordance with the Institute snow removal plan. Respond to and be available for weather related emergencies as necessary to maintain safe transportation through campus. Operate, maintain and inspect all snow removal equipment in accordance with Institute's standards.
* Perform tasks necessary for routine maintenance of campus grounds. Inspect, maintain and operate grounds and field related power equipment at proper working and safety standards. Clean equipment at the end of each use. Report and document any needed repairs of equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary
The Department of Mathematical Sciences at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY seeks to hire a tenure-track Assistant Professor to begin in August 2026. Our department seeks candidates whose research develops and applies mathematical frameworks toward the understanding of challenging problems with societal or technological impact in areas such as the life sciences, quantum systems, and engineering.
We are particularly seeking candidates who employ mathematically principled approaches for the design and analysis of novel simulation and computational methodologies, including those pertaining to data science, scientific machine learning, and optimization.

* Facilitates delivery of concrete from ready mix truck; levels concrete to specified depth and workable consistency; smoothes and shapes surfaces of freshly poured concrete; finishes concrete surfaces.
* Removes rough or defective spots from concrete surfaces, and patches holes with appropriate materials; inspects and perform maintenance on pre-stressed concrete structures, such as parking garages.
* Construct forms and chutes for pouring concrete; erect scaffolding and ladders for performing work above ground level.
* Install tape and finish sheet rock or drywall systems.
* Assist with air conditioning installations, demolitions, painting, and carpentry.
* Perform glass repair and glazing.

Representative Job Duties

Parking Lot Attendant: Sell lot spaces, and keep supervisor apprised of any problems or issues that arise.
Usher: Assist patrons entering and exiting the building with seating, directions, etc.. Enforce Field House rules regarding blocking aisles, no smoking, no alcohol, etc., and keep supervisor apprised of any problems or issues that arise.

The Robotic Lab + Woodshop Supervisor (under the direction of the Woodshop Manager), will serve as the director of the school's Robotic Lab as well as assist in a range of additional day-to-day duties throughout the shop facilities. Provide essential instructional support and technical expertise specific to robotic technology in support of the school's entire academic and research enterprise. Job Summary

These appointments may be made for one to three years, and are renewable, contingent upon available funding, enrollment, satisfactory performance, and the business needs of the School of Architecture. Adjunct appointments are made for a single semester.

Minimum Qualifications
Candidates are expected to have a terminal degree in an area related to the subject matter of their teaching. Candidates must be able to provide evidence of effective teaching or instruction.
An Adjunct classification is a non-tenured temporary academic appointment. An Adjunct Faculty must have the prerequisite academic teaching experience and credentials in the course subject area and discipline.
A Lecturer must demonstrate expertise and/or experience in a specific academic course subject, academic discipline area, and must have had prior substantive teaching experience and/or experience as a practicing professional at a senior level. A Sr. Lecturer must also have attained a significant level of scholarly and/or research activity and/or funding.
A Professor of Practice has obtained unique professional experience, has distinguished research, and/or has performed at an executive or officer level, and has made a significant impact within a subject matter or discipline in a field important to Rensselaer's research and academic programs. A Professor of Practice is expected to have substantial leadership experience of at least (10-15 years) and generally a national or international reputation for excellence in their field of expertise.

Representative Job Duties

Job Summary
The Environmental Specialist, Lead performs the duties of an Environmental Specialist, Sr. and assists supervisor with the planning and scheduling of the Institute's standards for cleanliness in assigned areas, including residence halls, apartments, academic buildings, classrooms, athletic/recreational facilities, offices, and common areas. Collaborate with the Supervisor to coordinate solid waste, hazardous waste, and recycling pickups, and perform other assigned tasks.
* Stay informed of scheduled events in assigned areas. Identify event needs, such as staffing requirements, additional cleaning, and room setup.
* Work with Department leadership to administer an effective staff development, mentoring, and ongoing training program. Focus areas include safety policies, divisional standard operating procedures, equipment use and maintenance, and cleaning techniques and applications.
* Communicate unit activities to the Supervisor, including regular assessments of all areas. Report vandalism or theft of Institute property immediately to the Supervisor or Public Safety.

Perform snow removal duties such as shoveling, salting, chopping ice, and operating snow blowers. Be available for night and weekend call-ins for snow removal operations.

About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Director for Global Site Security within Northeastern University's Global Safety & Policing Department, the NY Campus Safety Director (CSD) role leads the day-to-day operations, develops the campus safety team, and oversees the security standards across the campus. The Campus Safety Department is a small team of civilian security officers that support the Northeastern University NY campus in a 24/7 capacity, supplemented with contracted security
Other responsibilities include:
Identify areas of improvement within the department, develop options and present recommendations
Develop the staffing model and training standards.
Community engagement and relationship development with surrounding organizations.
Engage students, faculty, staff, and the entire Northeastern community
Provide general safety and security guidance to all members of the community on numerous topics, including best practices related to the safekeeping of university personnel and assets.
Perform site assessments of campus spaces and present recommendations for enhancements.
This is an on-call position that will respond in a support function for significant and critical incidents. This position will be based out of the NY Campus. Occasional travel requirements to other campus locations may also be required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge

Delivering staff and student training and working with campus leadership to identify safety and security solutions.
Developing robust collaborative relationships with local, state, and federal emergency response organizations
Meeting with community members and external organizations as appropriate
Making recommendations for strategic personnel and contracted security enhancements to promote organizational efficiency

Expected Hiring Range:
$107,300.00 - $155,581.25
