Purpose:
Performs mobile pre-delivery inspections and on-site equipment diagnostics, service, repair, and maintenance work in line with the service programs. May require some direction or guidance from the Service Manager or Location Manager.
Responsibilities:
o Performs on-site service on all makes of Turf and small Agricultural equipment.
o Actively promotes and sells dealership specific mobile service programs directly to customers
o Coordinates with Service Manager or Location Manager to establish and implement effective processes for all Turf and small Agricultural services offered through dealership specific service programs
o Reviews and explains any maintenance, repair or other service concerns directly with the customer and documents on work order
o Establishes and implements effective stocking processes with the Parts department to maintain the proper seasonal parts inventory in the vehicle
o Participates in Service EDUCATE Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge
o Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products
o Maintains condition of mobile service vehicle, trailer, inventory, tools and equipment
o Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
o Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
o Accounts for all time and material used in performing assigned duties
o Responsible for other duties as assigned by your manager
o 1+ years of experience performing service repairs
o Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
o Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures

Provide backup support with medical equipment deliveries, setup, and patient instructions as needed.

Qualifications for Success:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate's degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Engineering Studies, or related field preferred.
Valid New York State driver's license & must be 21 years of age to meet the coverage requirements of the company's auto insurance.
3-5 years' experience as a medical equipment repair/maintenance technician, electronics technician, or related.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, safety guidelines, and maintenance procedures.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with limited standardization.
Basic math skills, including the ability to calculate percentages, discounts, and interest.
Experience with word processing, web-based mapping, and delivery tracking software.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Must possess a clean driving record.

Hourly Pay Range:
$19.00-$24.00
Shift:
Monday-Friday from 7:00a-3:30p
Responsible for the completion of all tasks with minimum supervision as directed by the Facility Coordinator. Responsible for reporting any condition effecting building services and consumer or employee safety and comfort. Will accompany Facility Coordinator on tours of sites to help identify potential problems in specific areas of responsibility including site maintenance, janitorial, physical plant and preventative maintenance that could result in the sites inability to pass state survey. Responsible for following People Inc. guidelines regarding general maintenance practices. Responsible for protecting and improving the quality of life for the consumer and the value of property. Ensure building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life. Knowledge of codes, laws and regulations pertaining to the operations of the facility are mandatory.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Completes Maintenance Request Forms.
Inspects property on a regular basis.
Responds to weather related circumstances, may require the removal of snow or debris.
Completes all minor repairs and maintenance of physical plant, doors, windows, railings, and ceiling tile.
Replaces light bulbs and ballasts, defective electrical switches, outlets and other electrical fixtures of a minor scale.
Paints interior or exterior of building.
Performs minor plumbing repairs.
Provides general lawn care, grass cutting, edging, and trimming bushes.
Checks operations of the fire life safety equipment, smoke detectors, Co2 detectors, emergency lighting, etc.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid NYS Driver's License that meets agency policy.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
1-2 years general maintenance experience preferred.
Lifting requirement of 50lbs.
Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position when performing the following: standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling and climbing.
